The walls are thin so one is aware of conversations in the adjoining room. Also, the traffic noise from the highway is present, even on the "back" side of the motel.

The gentleman at check-in was great. He had issues with the ******* reservation but was able to get my room without waiting for his system issues to be resolved. The room however showed many signs of deferred maintenance. The mattress was worn out, the floors creaked, especially in the bathroom. I would suspect dry rot under the tub and toilet as the floor was very spongy. I would be afraid to fill the tub for fear it would fall through.

For the price i paid for two nights it was dirty, broken crooked furniture and fixtures. The plugs were so loose i couldn't charge my phone. I sink into the bed and the ice machine didn't work. Sqeeky floors and the bath walls weren't glued to the walls . Could hardly turn on the water in the sink. Good water pressure in the shower though. Front person during the day was uncaring and rude. Was worried about bugs. Slept with the lights on.

The check in was great. Super cool dude at check in. Room was clean and cumfy overall. Do NOT stay in Room 101 if you want to get some sleep. There was banging all night long due to their washers and dryers being literally in the next room over. 😞

The staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and accommodating. The room was clean and remodeled with a new, comfortable mattress. It had a cute retro style and feel. The grounds were well lit and seemed safe. My only suggestions are to have a grassy pet area, and put both tissues and a click in the room. This place is a great value!

The outlet for my microwave and TV was broken and so I could only plug in either the microwave or the TV and there was no outlets to charge my phone next to the bed. There was limited towels. It just had the scuzzy feeling all over the property and the soda machine was broken.

It is a small place but serves the purpose And the amenities inside each room that was an extra.

The security latches on the door were broken or missing entirely. The front desk employee was kind enough to let us check out three different rooms, hoping to find one with a functioning security latch, and none of them had one. The carpet was pretty grungy and we didn't get our 3rd day room cleaning. That said, it was quite sheltered from road noise on the inner courtyard where our room was in spite of being next to the freeway, and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

The man at the front desk was waiting to devote his time to me when I walked in at about 5:00. Check-in was simple, having been reserved and prepaid via *******. My room was basic, on the ground floor, opening onto the pool/courtyard, both closed of for the season and remodeling, I guess. I just wanted to sleep, so I didn't ask. The bed was all I could have hoped for, form and flat and clean. The bathroom is set back on a relatively long hallway, which I suppose gives a bit more privacy, but the light switch is way back there, by the door to the shower and toilet. Makes for a dark walk, but not a problem. The shower/tub and the toilet are basic, just fine, with no extra grills to require an owners manual. Being an old guy with sciatica, walking from the car to my room was more of a hassle than of I had a room on the outside, instead of the courtyard. There were plenty of such things, and I'm sure they would have given me one of I had only asked. My fault, and no big deal. The four lock uses a product card: just hold your card by the lock, and the light flashes to show it's unlocked. Common note, but worth mentioning, since the property was probably built with older tech. No breakfast. They have a coffee pot in the room along the front desk. I was in the mood for a full breakfast provided by wait staff in s restaurant, anyway, so was happy to take the low room rate, instead. I was traveling solo, no kids to feed, and no interest in a pool, so the Pepper Tree was perfect for me
