디스커버리 유콘 로징(Discovery Yukon Lodgings)

We stayed in one of the cabins on our way to Alaska. This campground is so well kept and the staff was amazingly helpful! We arrived late and missed the home cooked dinner, but they left it in our mini fridge. We also missed the cut off to order breakfast but they accommodated us. Please support this family owned business on your trip through the Yukon!

This is a good sized (50 +/- sites) off the grid RV Park between Tok, and Haines Junction just off the highway (no traffic at night). We were warmly greeted and escorted to our site. The seemingly haphazardly positioned spots are a combination of back in, and pull through spots with some “buddy sites” they also offer some cabins. The well spaced pea stone sites are off pea stone access roads - the convenient hookups are modern, and mostly functioned properly - note: the electric varied between 58 & 61 hz. No cable tv, no OTA stations, no cell service - their included WiFi (Starlink) only available at the office is good (the intent is to expand to the park in the near future). While not much of a destination, it is a welcome stop on a rough road.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful campground. Our motorhome broke down and we were able to get it to Discovery Yukon Lodgings. All the staff at the campground were friendly and helpful. They found us a spot to camp for the night, let us stay late until the tow truck came the next day and were friendly and supportive throughout. On top of that, there was no cellular service and they let us use their phone multiple times. The campground itself was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully without the breakdown next time!

Last August driving on this section of the Alaska Highway was dreadful--full of potholes and lots of road construction. So coming across Discovery Yukon Lodgings was like finding a veritable oasis! The setting was beautiful--grassy with lots of trees--each RV site was spacious. Amanda and staff were friendly and helpful--so much so that we stopped again on our way back from Alaska! If we pass that way again, we will definitely stay there again. Suzanne and Chuck

Arrived to a campground full with French RV caravan, friendly campers, in early July, 2022. The showers were out of order, there is no internet, and we were told not to run our A/C, but were still charged full price. Mosquitoes were terrible, nothing to do there, located right on the highway. Inside the office there are a nice collection of taxidermized wild animals and expensive souvenirs.

This was a very nice surprise after our many poor to fair campgrounds while traveling through British Columbia and Yukon. The park is in a beautiful valley with many trees and awesome mountains. The spaces are wide with trees, grass and wildflowers between sites. Nights were very quiet and peaceful. Even though the park was full, it didnt feel like it. The campground is designed with the theme of an old mining camp with old buildings and a collection of vehicles and equipment.

This place was beautiful and quiet. We stayed in a cabin, which was so clean. The air ***** gave our pup so much room to play, and the homemade meal that they delivered to OUR DOOR hit the spot after a long drive! So delicious!

What a gem! Our little log cabin was absolutely perfect. It was stocked with everything we needed, clean, and comfortable. Their menu was limited, but the food was delicious, served with a fresh salad and delivered to our cabin. Will definitely stay again!

Quite, Calm and Peaceful. We actually got our 8 hours of much needed sleep 😴 thanks to no Wi-Fi. 😊
