Baytree Lodge

Awful, we was shown to our rooms by staff, first impressions, dated and musty room. Tv didn’t work, wardrobe had mould inside, mattress ripped, decorative pillows stained, floor dirty with hair and other food bits, tea, coffee and sugar out of date! Bathroom, floor tiles broken, mould around taps, shower and tiles, bathroom mirror has marks all over and the light above it was broken and did not work! Floor tiles extremely slippy! Shower hot and powerful. At around 2130 OUR ROOM DOOR WAS TRIED AND SOMEONE TRIED TO GET IN! THIS HAPPENED TO MY MOM AND DAD TOO AT THE SAME TIME! ME, MY HUBAND AND 2 CHILDREN WERE ALSO WOKEN BY SOMEONE TRYING TO GET IN OUR DOOR AT 23:30. WE HAD TO PUT THE CHAIR INFRONY OF THE DOOR! We went to reception at 08:10 as we did not want to continue to stay and it took 15 minutes for someone to arrive I had to use the ring doorbell for someone’s attention! He came down in dressing gown! We had cameras at the top of our door which would of been able to see clearly down the hall! We have asked to see footage! He said someone will get back to me! He stated that they had long term residents living in this property, so basically a halfway house! I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS HOTEL! IT IS NOT SAFE! FROM LOOKING AT ANOTHER REVIEW A LADY LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT DUE TO SOMEONE TRYING HER DOOR THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT!

Awful place . Broken tiles in on the bathroom flour with a towel and bath mat covering it. mould on the tiles in the bathroom. Around 9.30 On the evening someone tried our door knob, then later around 11.30 they tried the door again . We tried to get camera footage the next morning from the owner but no one was about to, eventually we managed to get someone and told him, he said he did not have auto the cameras and asked why we didn’t phone someone at the time but we were not given a number to phone . We left early that morning !!!

We were desperate for accommodation for five of us, including a toddler, at the last minute on the Easter bank holiday weekend, as our intended holiday house had been double-booked by the host. Suki was really lovely and helpful and found us two rooms for the three nights, with breakfast each morning too. The beds were comfy and the cooked breakfasts were tailored to our differing needs (one gluten-free, one veggie, one fussy toddler). Free off-street parking in front of the B&B was useful with a car full of family bits and bobs and a toddler to manoeuvre in and out. Suki explained they were in the process of renovation and we look forward to going back again once the upgrade works have been done.

Very disappointed with this guest house, it is in a look of disrepair my son and I stayed there over night and there was no free breakfast. We asked for breakfast but we're told we had to pay cash for this as I did not have enough cash on me the lady told me to walk to the nearest cash point in the middle of town. Did not want to use the bath as it had black mood all round it . Needless to say we will not stay there again .

Me & my friend took a day trip to north wales without any bookings . At the end of day we decided to stay so we pulled our car B&B Baytree lodge. Dee was so helpful & show us our rooms . Lovly room bed was so comfortable, nice bathroom. We had a pleasant stay . Brilliant service. We will definitely stay with them again. Brilliant service & reasonable price. Near the town with nice Restaurants

Firstly we were greeted welcomingly . We booked 8 single rooms as a base for Velosity 2 , to get a phone call 1 week before to ask if we could share 4 rooms - we did and were charged £ 100 per room plus a " half " price breakfast £ 5 for a room that was very dated and not worth the money . We were charged nearly double to what the single rooms were
