A perfectly lovely experience. We only spent two nights but wished it were longer. Hélène and Jean were personable and welcoming. Our room was comfy, spacious and spotless. The owners took care of dinner reservations for us each night, and each morning helped us plan our excursions to explore the area. Breakfast was varied and filling. The hosts speak English perfectly, having lived in the US; communication was seamless. I don’t hesitate to urge anyone to stay at Les Bruhasses and experience this charming, gorgeous area devoid of tourist hordes.

In November, we stayed at Les Bruhasses for the third time. There is not much to say that I haven’t already said in previous reviews. Suffice it to say, this is the best place we have stayed in many trips to France, period. Wonderful accommodations and food- Hélène and Jean are truly wonderful people who take care of their guests as if they were family.

This is an absolute beautiful property. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! Jean and Helene are wonderful friendly people. They helped us with the local sites to see and we went to all of them!! They made is so welcome in their home, we felt like we were at home!!

We were disappointed to arrive and be told that we couldn’t have the room we’d carefully chosen and booked. We were given the price difference and a bottle of wine in compensation but the room wasn’t as big or as nice as the other one. Very plainly furnished with a bare floor. Jean was very welcoming and offered us a glass of wine with other guests. Breakfast was very good with Canadian pancakes and maple syrup. Helene is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and will provide information and maps on places to visit.

Absolutely the best. Lovely property, great room, very comfortable, wonderful food. I highly recommend. It is perfect. I only wish we'd stayed longer. So much to visit in this area. Helene is so helpful with recommendations and dinner recommendations and reservation. As well as recommendations for local sites, etc..

This was out first visit to Les Bruhasses, but not I hope our last! The house and grounds are beautiful and Jean and Helene are the prefect hosts. We stayed in the Fleurs d'Aurore room, which was spacious, tastefully furnished and had a large comfortable bed. Our breakfast was was a great mix of traditional french breads and croissants etc, but we also had a different plate of warm food each morning, freshly prepared by Helene. We were provided with maps and advice on what to see in the area and Helene made for reservations for us at local restaurants in the evening. We had a wonderful experience staying here and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

My colleague and I were travelling for work and wanted somewhere nice to stay that wasn't a busy hotel. We spent a great night at Les Bruhasses. Spacious and comfortable rooms with lovely big beds. Beautiful grounds. Very welcoming hosts and the most amazing pancakes for breakfast! Would definitely re-book if travelling in the area again.
