We enjoyed reading by the fireplace in the gathering area. The breakfast was plentiful with many options and very good.

The Terrace Inn was a beautiful spot to stay in Petoskey. The neighborhood was quiet but still very close to downtown. We will definitely book here again on our next trip!

This is a historic hotel so you need to be able to appreciate that. Rooms are small by today's standards but normal for over one hundred years ago. Walls are thin as well but the property has quiet hours which were well respected by the guests around us. A good breakfast is also included in the restaurant with both hot and cold selections. We did not have dinner but we did enjoy a happy hour cocktail along with some crab cakes in the lovely lobby before heading into town. This was very enjoyable and other guests told us that dinner was fantastic. The staff members we interacted with were all friendly and took care of our requests promptly. If you want a Holiday Inn Express a lovely one is right down the road. If you want a unique experience out of your stay and appreciate classic architecture definitely give this place a try!

Despite atrocious weather, we had a good time during our short fall trip to Petoskey. The inn is comfortable, clean and charming. My rather short wife appreciated the stepstool to get into the high bed! Really good breakfast, too. Only real complaint was the wi-fi was poor in our room on the 3rd floor; I had to take my iPad to the lobby to be able to access most of the websites. But overall, we are very pleased with the Terrace Inn and will likely return in the future.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the amazing dinner at Restaurant 1911! Perfect portions, excellent drinks, wonderful staff. Bonus to the stay was a very delicious breakfast which was included in the stay. Looking forward to staying again. I highly recommend!

Very lovely and unique old inn nestled in an area of cottages that also are very unique. It was a quiet stay with very friendly guests and staff. The inn, terrace and grounds are well kept and sparkling! Dining room is cozy with wood floor, chandeliers and antiques. Complimentary breakfast was nicely presented. You can eat indoors or on the terrace. We were unable to have dinner there due to the end of season and restaurant only open on weekends. But we have enjoyed their very reasonable three course dinner before. Excellent food the last time we stayed. If you are looking for out of the ordinary from the mundane chain hotels you will enjoy the charming Terrace Inn!

Just keep in mind that this is an older hotel and as such the rooms are not as spacious as you may be used to. That being said, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The lack of an elevator should be a consideration if you have mobility issues. Buffet Breakfast was included and was very good as was the dinner we had in the 1911 Restaurant. All of the Staff were super friendly and bent over backwards to assist us in whatever we needed. All in all a pleasant stay!

The history of the Inn and surrounding charm of the area, which easily allowed an after dinner walk. Had a wonderful dinner. Will be having an included full breakfast. Just a sweet glimpse into a calmer life.

Terrace Inn is a darling old style hotel that is very well maintained with a very friendly staff. We will certainly return next Spring!
