Very welcoming hosts, warmly greeted, friendly and helpful throughout. Very pleasant room, lovely views and a very comfortable bed; the shower was weak though. Delicious breakfast, hot options cooked to perfection, beautifully presented. Good location for visiting the northern area of the Lake District. A few good eating options close by.

We enjoyed our stay with Pete and Kate, a lovely couple of hosts. They were very informative about the area, which was helpful as it was the first time we had been to the Lakes. Their house was lovely the bedroom was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable.The service and breakfast was very good,not many b&b's offer salmon for breakfast.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Link House. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, with good knowledge of the area. Our room was perfect with lovely mountain views and the breakfast was delicious. A great location for walking. We hope to stay again soon.

Had a brilliant 3-night stay at the Link House in the Lake District! Pete and Katie are amazing hosts. We checked in very late, and Pete was kind enough to stay up till we reached the property. He also gave us so many good suggestions on things to do, while Katie made us a delicious breakfast for a great start to the day! The location itself is in a quiet area with beautiful surroundings (something that we prefer) and away from the hustle and bustle of the busier towns. There is ample parking space for up to 6 cars. Would definitely recommend this accommodation for your next visit to the Lake District.

I selected Link House based on previous, positive reviews. I was not disappointed! Peter & Katie could not have been more accommodating. Great location and fabulous views. The breakfasts were exceptional! Couple of walks to Pheasant Inn for food and drinks added to the experience! We hope to return.

The hosts of Link House, Katie and Pete were so friendly, helpful and regardful of our needs. We really enjoyed very tasty home cooked breakfasts, many options were available, including vegetarian and gluten free food. We stayed in a very clean, cosy and comfortable room - we slept well in the large double bed. In the room is a fan and extra heater should you feel too hot or cold. There is a high ceiling and large windows with a mountain view, very comfortable armchairs. There is a nice garden with picnic tables and a good private car park at the back for about seven cars. The post code will take you exactly outside the B&B - 2nd last house on the right. You should see the house sign just after the tree out front (see pic).

Brilliant! Our second time staying here and loved it. A fantastic house in a great location ran by a lovely couple. The room was a great size and spotlessly clean with everything you need as well as thoughtful little extras. Breakfast is superb, plenty of parking, easy access to the lake as well as a pub which is only about 5 mins walk whilst it isn't far to drive to Keswick either.

Wonderful weekend stay at Link House, perfectly positioned for a visit to the northern Lake District with lovely views of the hills . Our hosts Pete and Katie couldn’t have looked after us any better, so welcoming and the breakfast was first class. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped and with great views. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Best meal out in the area was Ravenstone Manor
