Travelodge Hotel - Basildon

I was staying for one night, I was able to park at the leisure centre carpark all day for two days for free, I didn't return to the hotel until after 10pm where I was checked in and staff were very helpful and made sure that I knew I could go out again and how to get back into the building. Next morning I checked out without any issues and was assisted by friendly staff.

Staying at the Basildon Travelodge was a good choice. Reasonably priced compared to similar hotels nearby. Staff were amazing led by Mama Travelodge! (You know who you are) All staff were helpful and greeting you with a smile.

Great. The room was clean and comfortable. Lesley on the front desk made me laugh and really made my day! I arrived after midnight because I was travelling, but I was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this as a convenient place to stay.

It’s the 2nd time I have stayed here and I definitely would again. Clean hotel friendly and helpful staff and a very restful and comfortable sleep

Amazing staff for starters, nothing they will not do to help you. Always make you feel welcome. The hotel could do with a bit of a touch up. But it is clean and the beds are so comfy. The new manager seems really nice and helpful, his staff are great. Ceri is a breath of fresh air. Cannot wait to come back soon!!!

Room was too warm, no air con controls. Bed needed a new mattress as it was hard and uneven. Room was dirty, it hadn't been dusted and the carpet needed cleaned. the bed sheets were stained and disgusting. Their were piss marks around the walls of the toilet in the bathroom and shower curtain was ripped and didn't stop the bathroom getting soaked while showering. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly and their were toothpaste stains around the sink. Very very poor standard room in general. If you are looking to stay in this area I would HIGHLY recommend looking at the Premier Inn & Holiday Inn which are beside this hotel.

4 night stay working on a nearby site, hotel is clean and does the job, bed was particularly comfortable. Staff are brilliant, Ramish on reception helped me figure out the Wifi and would always take the time to ask how i was and if everything was ok with my stay when I was wandering in and out. Those little details make all the difference! Would stay again just for that extra customer service touch!

Nice staff. Rooms for run down and are in need to some refreshing. Expected at rooms without rust and damage for £160 a night

This hotel has problems with boy racers at 12 till 2 am in the morning, also make sure you take paperwork with you as they will try and make out that you are a liar about the room you actually booked. I booked an accessible room as I am a wheelchair user with 2 assistance dogs, the reception tried to make me out to be a liar in front of other guests until I produced my paperwork. All they could offer me was a bedroom on the 3rd floor, lift was not big enough for myself and my 2 dogs
