I had a wonderful business stay at your hotel and the service was excellent and I really enjoy staying at you hotel. Staff was very friendly and the food was great, room was clean and it was quiet for business and I will recommend your hotel to other colleagues

The hotel was very cosy and welcoming. It was neat and tidy too, with an exceptionally nice staff who helped us with everything we needed. They were very lovely and friendly. The setting of the hotel was inviting and it felt like home. I’m very happy we came here

Rusty old fashion look but cosy inside. Rooms and bathrooms needs an update. Breakfast was ok but not up to standard. It needs an upgrade

The layout of the rooms was crisp and clean, the service that was offered by the staff on the day was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and very helpful during my stay, the food tasted very good and was enjoyable. I loved the scenic views offered.

Fantastic Karoo Hotel. Decor of hotel, and ambiance was great. Only downside was hot water for showers.

A friendly, quirky hotel with excellent food and attentive staff. Unfortunately, a little cold when we were there and so a heater in our room would have been appreciated.

The Sunday lunch was just wonderful. It offers a gracious setting (a magnificent old style dining room) but with a casual vibe. Live guitar in the background and a tasty, hearty lunch with attentive friendly service. A great place for families and friends to gather. And the price per head for the set three courses with a glass of wine is unbeatable value. An absolute classic Sunday lunch!

Firstly Barrydale is a must-see town with all its creative Afrikana shops and old school eateries. And at the heart of all of this is the Karoo Art Hotel with its fun, individually decorated bedrooms, each with its own personality. The restaurant is covered in local SA artworks and most of them are even for sale should you feel like a bit of shopping whilst dining. The easy-going style of the hotel makes you feel welcome and at home, and there's plenty of humour going around. Thank you Philip for making our visit memorable and enjoyable. You guys rock! X M

Great service with a relaxed environment. This was our second stay there and a new GM was appointed, she needs to be a bit more friendly to guests from all backgrounds. I found the GM to only greet guests if she felt it was necessary or you were not even acknowledged. The staff tend to make the stay comfortable and always assist with the smile, they are the reason we will go back but certainly not for the GM.
