더 필라 호텔

據説是修道院改建的，房間裝修是比較現代的，電視冰箱都有，房間是閣樓，有天窗和一個很高的窗户，衞生間也有天窗，除了貴沒啥毛病，畢竟是郊區，2千多，地鐵亨敦站下來有一家香港人開的中餐廳，強力推薦，好吃實惠，工作人員看上去像一家人，都是大美女

The hotel is warm, inviting, quaint, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast, While not extravagant, is delicious and the kitchen staff is very friendly. The room is very comfortable and the complimentary cookies are a nice welcoming touch. The proximity to Hendon Central Station as well as kosher eateries was a huge plus. I look forward to returning.

I am actually laid on the bed before checking out and couldn't be happier with our stay at The Pillar. I am a wheelchair user, and it is stressful trying to find truly accessible hotel rooms, but this one is including emergency pull cords by bed and shower, bars by toilet and a raised toilet, the seat in shower is bolted to the wall. Some people have said the Wi-Fi is bad, well we laid in bed and streamed shows from BBC iPlayer and 4 on Demand with no buffering! What really made this special was that a Chuppah was set up right outside our room and the central area soon filled with guests, and we got to watch this special moment which ended of course with a lot of singing! Breakfast was perfect, and the staff are very attentive, and over all I cannot fault our stay at this wonderful hotel.

The Pillar turned out to be many times better than expected. In a converted old monastery, a listed building full of character, but with up-to-date bathrooms and super soft towels. . The staff were amazingly helpful, even lent me 5 pounds to pay for the taxi as I did not have enough sterling currency on arrival. Sumptuous breakfast. There is no restaurant for mid day meals but snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge all day long. They provided a hot plate and urn for Shabbat meals that we bought in ourself. The location couldn’t be better in relation to Hendon, Golders Green, Brent Cross Mall, all within walking distance.

We just completed our summer vacation and spent a week at The Pillar Hotel. We had an amazing time. The rooms were clean, modern, roomy. The location was amazing (especially if you are kosher). The hotel was classy and have everything you need. The staff was very helpful from beginning to end. The (kosher) breakfast was delicious and filling. There was room around the hotel to relax and read in quiet. They have a room with constant free snacks and drinks (until late at night). For those who are kosher and need Sabbath meals, they were very accommodating. (They set up a a beautiful Shabbat table and provided refrigeration and a hot plate for the meals.). We absolutely loved staying there and would recommend anyone to stay there. You will love it.

I have stayed here on many occasions. I am fussy and I always enjoy staying here. The guests come from all over the world. The Pillar is unique in that it is located within an amazing historic building situated around a quadrangle. All the staff are amazing too - welcoming, very helpful, respectful and pleasant. The rooms are super clean, well maintained, comfortable, secure and quiet. The cold buffet breakfast is plentiful, enjoyable and caters for all religious and dietary requirements and tastes. The location is within easy walking distance of a lovely park, very many synagogues, the London Underground and there are numerous kosher eateries very close by. It's just a very, very nice hotel which also happens to be strictly kosher.
