The location was very convenient, but the rest was not as advertised.
No elevator: The stairs were narrow and had many steps, making it difficult to carry our luggage upstairs.
Old towels: The towels in our rooms were thin, rough, and shedding.
Low water pressure in the showers with hot water: The only way to have decent water pressure was to use cold water.
Laundry facilities: There was supposed to be laundry facilities. The only laundry facility we found was a washer in our suite with no dryer. The washer was very noisy and slow.
Broken dryer: When we asked the housekeeper (who spoke limited English) if we could use the dryer on the first floor, she showed us where it was located. We did one load of laundry with the dryer, but when my son brought another load of wet clothes to dry, the owner saw him and told him that there was no dryer in the hotel. The owner then shut the door to the dryer room.
Uncomfortable mattresses: The mattresses in our rooms were old and worn out and uncomfortable.
Poor communication and mistrust: We felt that the situation with the dryer was handled very poorly. The owner's actions created mistrust and inconvenience for us. She should have been upfront with us about the dryer and offered to help us find alternative laundry solutions.
Overall, we would not recommend staying at this hotel.
The lack of amenities, poor communication, and mistrustful behavior of the owner made our stay very unpleasant.
