La Nigritella is a cute, small hotel about ten mins walk away from the main ski lift at Campo Smith. It has room enough for 20 people, which worked perfectly as there were 20 of us on a recent ski trip to Bardo. It meant we were able to treat the hotel as a home away from home. The owner, Stefano, made sure we felt like we could treat the hotel as our own home and went above and beyond what could have been reasonably expected. For instance, on arrival, his dad gave one of party a lift into town to collect something. He sourced a cake for one of the kids when it was their birthday. He made sure breakfast was ready 30 mins earlier than billed so that we could get the kids to their lessons every day. The man is a superstar. In terms of rooms, they are small but very comfortable with nice bathrooms and plenty of storage. Nothing fancy, but this is a small family run hotel after all. The dining area is a nice size and was more than adequate for 20 of us. The walk is down hill in the morning and uphill in the evening. All I can say is it’s only ten mins and you definitely get to burn off all that cheese and bread from the mountain lunches! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend La Nigritella. It was homely, welcoming and extremely good value. Above all that though is the most amazingly helpful host in Bardo. Grazie Stefano. Jason

We had a weekend of ski in Bardonecchia and we looked for a cozy hotel close to the ski slope. We stayed at Nigritella for 2 nights. It is located on a small hill and it is a bit tired and dated. With no elevator, it wasn't easy to carry the lugage on the stairs. Rooms are small and the windows of our room were not really the restricting entirely the cold air to circulate. The personnel was all very nice.

Hotel veramente carino, la sala colazione sembra un piccolo chalet. Ottima pulizia. Stanza un po’ piccola ma con un bel balcone e nell’affaccio. Colazione ottima e molto ricca con ottimi dolci. Proprietari gentilissimi e super disponibili! Grazie di tutto e Ci rivedremo presto.

Esperienza di soggiorno con la mia famiglia a Bardonecchia più che positiva in questo ex hotel ora BeB a conduzione famigliare. - Colazione essenziale ma varia e di ottima qualità con prodotti freschi. Brioche , pancake e torte favolose (e non è scontato in questa categoria); - Possibilità di usufruire di tisane e un frigo con acqua e bibite varie nella hall e di attrezzarsi autonomamente per la cena usufruendo della sala comune per mangiare qualcosa ; - La conduzione famigliare qui è un plus e basta coordinarsi con Stefano per sentirsi a casa; - Stanze calde con arredi un po’ datati ma funzionali (manca l’aria condizionata ma in inverno non serve) e si dorme bene anche se le pareti non sono così insonorizzate; - Deposito per sci e scarponi essenziale ma comodo; - Numerose attività sportive opzionale a cui partecipare e la possibilità di usufruire della scuola di sci dei proprietari x noleggi e corsi completano l’offerta invernale. - Più che un Hotel è un piccolo Chalet di montagna con delle camere con bagni privati e una sala e salottino comuni con tutti i pro e contro di questa soluzione. - Posizione un po’ defilata a 3 min di macchina da Campo Smith e 15 min a piedi: Consiglio qualche piccolo lavoro di ammodernamento delle camere x diventare ancora più accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente se torniamo a Bardonecchia
