Seafort Luxury Hideaway

We picked Seafort Luxury Hideaway for a trip to west Cork to visit family and we were delighted. It’s set on a beautiful little cove right on the Wild Atlantic Way. The view is breathtaking and ever changing. We got the upstairs Swan room with a little alcove overlooking the water. Siobhan was a great host and gave us lots of ideas for restaurants and places to see. She makes a fantastic Full Irish breakfast. If the weather is nice you can grab a bottle of wine from the nearby Lidl and sit by the fire pit. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bantry, do yourself a favor and book this one.

Host Siobhan very friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast. Wonderful location. Kayaking available and towels provided for swimming..Bantry within easy reach by car. Why 200 min characters required for review?

Two of us stayed here for four nights and what an experience it was. It was like staying with friends. Siobhan was very welcoming and put us at our ease right away and for the duration of our stay, including taking us into Bantry, sharing evening nibbles, etc. Often with B&Bs the reality does not live up to the photos but this is definitely not the case here. The room, the view and the surroundings, if anything, were better than we had expected. If you are planning to be in the area then this is the place to stay. If you’re not planning to be in the area then you should ask why not. The countryside is stunning with some lovely towns ands villages not too far away. We will be back.

Wow where do I begin, just back from a 4 night stay in this beautiful B&B where Siobhan is a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble, I felt I knew Siobhan all my life as she is such a people's person, great recommendations on places to visit and eat, her property has an enviable location right on the water with fabulous views out the bay, we were lucky enough to see a Heron and also the beautiful Swans, she informed us that there are otters, seals, comorants and egrats there. Siobhan's attention to detail is sublime and it makes your stay all the more memorable, chocolates in your room, bath robes and slippers and if you sore from hiking or walking you can have a lovely bath in her spare bathroom, underfloor heating throughout. Her artwork is also worth a mention by some local artists which suit the house so well, and lastly as for breakfast it was outstanding locally sourced sausages and black pudding I even brought some sausages home from her butchers in Bantry organic eggs and beautiful smoked salmon all served lovingly from her beautiful kitchen with its gorgeous Aga Cooker. We will definitely be back again to stay in the future its a fantastic base for discovering beautiful West Cork, and a restful relaxing place to put your head down after a busy day exploring, thank you Siobhan, Dominic & Catherine xx

Returned to this beautiful little piece of Irish paradise for the third time, bringing friends to share the experience. Seafort Luxury Hideway is an absolute gem of a place to stay. We splashed out and upgraded to the detached suites and we were not disappointed. The rooms are superbly appointed with the most breathtaking views directly over Bantry bay, with its constantly changing scenery and animal life. Our fantastic hostess, Siobhan is outstanding. She is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to share advice, book restaurants and even help you search for the pair of glasses I dropped on a walk back from the town! She is also very funny and cooks a mean full Irish breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients. I can’t recommend this beautiful spot enough.

I booked Seafort luxury hideaway for my wife’s surprise 40th gift. Wow, We was all blown away, this is definitely a 5 star rating. The house was beautifully presented and immaculate. Siobhan made us feel so welcome and actually part of her family. Siobhan’s breakfast was outstanding. Siobhan is a well educated lady, her knowledge of cork really helped out with our short stay. We will definitely be re booking thank you for having us x

This was such a find. It’s located just outside Bantry in a secluded, beachfront spot. Siobhan was a wonderful host and treated us to a wonderful homemade breakfast each morning. Our room was a lodge suite with luxurious touches everywhere. Would we stay again? Absolutely!!!

Outstanding accommodation in great location. Lots of little luxurious touches. Close to Bantry and the lovely villages/ towns of West Cork. Great breakfast and close to great restaurant ( Donemark West) 2 minutes away. Seafort is in a very relaxing location right on the waterfront. The owner, Siobhan is very helpful and on hand.
