Amazing location in 'the bush'. As a non Australian I loved seeing the kangaroos and possums outside my cabin. It was clean, well equipped, and host/ess were very friendly. Reasonable pub grub back in town. Would live to stay here again

We had a lovely couple of days in our cottage. The first day was rainy so we set up the fire early, cooked a delicious bbq and enjoyed the ambience. Our cottage was well appointed, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The cottage itself is quite cold without the fire, but we had layers of clothing so it was ok. The electric blanket warmed up the bed Check in was easy. Plenty of wood to light the fire. We’d come back here for the comfort, and also the proximity to Girraween and a number of good wineries plus the Ballandean Tavern

What a magnificent stay we had in the two bedroom cottage. It was clean (10*) and very cosy. We arrived well after dark and all the lights were on in the cottage so we could find our way easy. It was Autumn and the weather was actually still very nice during the day. At night we would light the fire as those nights were a bit chilly. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wander on the property, went to Girraween National park (which is very close by). Visited wineries, to many to choose from. And we recommend a visit to the Christmas farm which is near Stanthorpe. So a lot to do. We would definitely go back again, we really loved the place and their proprietors. Gurdie and family.

Great location in the country away from all the noise. Nice cottage with everything you need for a great family break - very clean and well equipped kitchen including gas bbq. We loved the log fire and proximity to the Granite Belt plus the the evening stargazing

My hubby & I stayed in a studio cottage 'cassia' and our friends stayed in 1 1brm cottage 'Banksia'. The cottages were beautiful. Both cottages have a fire place @ bbq. The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Close to the wineries and tavern. We loved walking around their property taking in the views and wild life. We even saw an echidna. We had fire pit at night. We will return.

Can't fault this place really.. bit more kindling and firewood would be good.. getting cold this time of year.. but central to everything really... get that fireplace going and just sit around and relax... pity there is no interaction with the animals on-site, and better access to their products..which is garlic..
