Wow, what an amazing host! Jorge knew all about the surrounding areas, the National Park trails we wanted to visit and what activities were available to us. We had all our meals at the ranch, and he was even kind enough to pack us simple sack lunches for our day in the National park. Meals were deliciously simple. We enjoyed zip lining with the kids at the ranch and felt super safe zipping among the canopy. Don’t use Google to get to the ranch, use Waze! Google took us down an abandoned “road” more like an extreme 4x4 road and Waze too is the correct way.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Vida Adventura Ranch. We were heading to Nosara for a wedding and wanted to do a day up in the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful and Leonardo attended to all our needs. The pools and waterslide were awesome and we loved the homecooked dinner and breakfast. My daughter and I did a horseback tour and it was lots of fun and at $35 each a great value! Be aware the road to get to this area is pretty rough - defintely recommend an SUV or 4-wheel drive.

This is an absolutely fabulous family-ranch lodging. I was fortunate to stay in one of the glamping domes with the outstanding views. I was working via computer and video for several days; the wifi was great and my background views almost made working while in Costa Rica worth it. The whole place is clean and efficiently run. Everything worked as promised. I did the zipline, which was incredible and very safety-oriented. The pools were lovely. The food was plentiful and excellent. Mostly, it was the lovely people associated with the ranch and the outstanding location. Very worth the little extra drive. The ranch has excellent trails but one is also very close to Rincon de la Vieja NP and lots of other activities. Highly, highly recommend this ranch for solo, families and couples.

This place is beautiful! We weren’t sure what to expect but from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Leonardo was very helpful and informative. We have 3 girls : age 6, 11 and 13 and we all went horse back riding together which was amazing! The horses were very clam. The 2 older girls also did zip lining and that was incredible as well. The tour guides were great! We had 2 farm dogs that came to us in the morning and the girls loved playing with them. Girls went swimming and had a blast on the slide. We enjoyed the hot tub as well and the food was delicious at the restaurant. We stayed 2 nights and we did not leave to go into town. There is a lot to do and we would stay longer next time! The room was also clean and comfortable with amazing view!

Jorge and his staff are amazing. The Ranch is beautiful and well maintained. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay longer. We hiked the trail on the property and the views were fabulous. We ate dinner and breakfast there and te meals were wonderful!

Here you can really feel Costa Rica. Beautiful land, a lot to see and to do and a convenient place to rest. We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the «butterfly trail » (as I called it, I saw more butterfly than anywhere else) and the horse ride!
