This is a well managed hotel in Alta Badia. Various types of room categories/pricing and great value for the money. Short shuttle ride to the ski slopes which is efficient. Marvelous breakfast, wonderful spa and the staff made us feel at home. Cannot recommend highly enough!

For years when coming to the Dolomites we have been staying in Santa Christina, Val Gardena. But this year we chose the Sport Hotel Theresa in Alta Badia for a change and had friends join us for the ski week of Carnevale in March. We had a MARVELOUS time here and will return next year multiple times it is that good. First about the area for those who are unfamiliar: The hotel is situated in Badia, in Alta Badia, just a few kilometers from La Villa where there is a gondola that takes you up the mountain to to a series of sunny mountain peaks. The enormous ski area of Alta Badia (La Villa, Corvara, Colfosco, San Cassiano) is easily connected on skis to Val Gardena in one direction and Lagazuoi and Arabba in the other and of course the entire Dolomiti Super Ski Area. The skiing here is mostly intermediate groomed runs but the enormity of the entire connected region is hard to fathom. It offers spectacular vistas from every run. INCREDIBLE majestic jagged peaks. It is truly remarkable and in 7 days of skiing we rarely skied the same runs twice. There are countless privately owned mountain huts (Rifugio, Hütte) to stop for a delicious and well-priced lunch. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the lifts which is only minutes away. We generally prefer hotels on the runs, but this hotel makes it so easy with the shuttle service that is free and efficient that we did not mind not being ski in and out. About the hotel: Sport Hotel Theresa offers several types of rooms and pricing. Given our group, we had nearly each room type booked and i will explain the differences. My first room for a few days was a single on the 4th floor. It is old fashioned in design and furnishings, but was spacious, clean, had a balcony with a gorgeous view and a very nice bathroom with a large window. It was the most comfortable single i have ever experienced and very well priced. When my partner arrived, I moved rooms to a newly remodeled Junior Suite Exclusive number 502. This was a modern and nicely designed large room with large balcony, very large shower, sofa, reading chair, coffee machine and beautiful hardwood floors. There are some rooms in the old style, and some rooms newly remodeled. When you book your room you will see the photos and can decide which type of room you would prefer. I personally do not mind the old style which is also less expensive...it harkens back to simpler times, but it is purely an aesthetic choice as all the rooms are comfortable. About the Cuisine: DELICIOUS. We truly enjoyed Half-Pension. At the end of a rigorous ski day the last thing we want is to dress and leave for dinner in the car. The food is well-prepared, and offers a number of choices each evening for the three course meal. The vegetable and salad bar is exceptional. Many hotels offer a five course dinner which is frankly too much food for us given our mountain lunch. This three course offering is a perfect compromise. Really enjoyed our stay at Sporthotel Teresa for a skiing holiday. Friendly staff, good food with prompt service and the best Bombardinos in town. Really good private skibus, which was a big help in getting around the area quickly. The pool and spa (and outdoor jacuzzi surrounded by snow!) were spot on and lovely to come back to after a day on the slopes, as was the afternoon tea in the bar. Thank you for a fantastic week, we will be back.

We are spending here 7days skiing, but I have to stress and worn that food is absolutely terrible. The hotel is average in all but food. Driver with ski bus is working only after call - not to him but to the reception but! Before you have to choose language, press… then reception or something else then press, then ask for ski bus. Reception is calling to him and … you have just to wait. But this is the minor issue, clue is disaster, every day I migrate and main course …

The hotel is amazing, the common areas are beautiful, cozy, the room is stylish, big and clean. The food is famous, Italians simply cook like in a Michelin restaurant. All the staff are very nice, helpful and willing. The hotel's shuttle service is excellent, it will take you to the cable and back. I have nothing to complain about, an excellent vacation, we would love to come back.

We are a group of friends who have been in the Dolomites for 10 years. This year the choice fell on Teresa Sportshotell. Very positive experience. Nice spacious rooms (newly renovated) with a good standard of bathroom (shower). Friendly service, and high quality dinner and breakfast. Big plus. We were a bit skeptical as it was a little way from the slopes, but the hotel's own taxi took us to/from the slopes between 0800 and 1700 every day. Little waiting time for friendly driver. Service in the dining room was friendly and service minded. Good size ski room / drying room. Pool and spa/sauna were good, and plus for outside jaccuzi and sauna. Good coffee machine in room. Minimal noise from the road nearby . Ok cabinets and drawers in the room. Good beds ( I prefer them a bit hard). Plus for free snacks / sandwich / cakes after skiing and before dinner. The only improvement is pegs / hooks in the rooms to hang gloves, helmets and wet ski clothing on. Can be easily solved.
