Hotel Die Post

This is school example how to run a hotel, all the hotels in the world should learn how to run hotels from this example. There is no reason to say something negative about this hotel, the staff, the food, the spa… Also is very near to the ski area.

It's been years since we last visited Die Post (2005) as it's not an easy journey from UK. However, the hotel is still as good as it was then. Our room was welcoming, clean and spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable 😊. The staff in all areas were attentive but not intrusive. Austrian half board is almost all the food you need for a day - an extensive choice for breakfast, light meal of pasta and / or salad available at lunchtime, afternoon cakes 😋 and 4 or 5 course meal in the evening! The spa areas on offer are brilliant. This is the largest massage jet pool I've ever used! We used the floatation pool, steam room and indoor sauna (plus massage pool) on a daily basis and felt better for it. All in all, a very enjoyable visit - I just wish it was easier to reach!

We spent a week in the new rooms. We visit this hotel for the third time. The room is very bright and as always very clean with a nice view to the hotel pool and ski slope. All the meals in the hotel were great. The buffet breakfast is bountiful and served until 10.45. All the staff in the hotel was very attentive and kind. We would like to thank Rosy at the reception as she kindly assisted us in finding the nearest shop for a camera for our IT needs (computer). In the dining room we were always well assisted by Hanna. The ski area is only 3 min walk from the hotel and there is a free depot for skies for the hotel guest at the ski piste. For ski courses we recomend the ski school Brunner, near the hotel. Our ski instructor at the school was Misha one of the best instructors we have ever meet. Definitely we will be back.

Sono tornato dopo 10/15 anni al Die Post (ci andavo ogni anno) e come sempre, in generale, non ho nulla da eccepire. A mio avviso il rapporto prezzo/beneficio è sempre molto positivo considerando che il soggiorno è sostanzialmente un vero “all inclusive”, quindi pensione completa ed accesso ai vari servizi gratuitamente (piscine e SPA validissime). L’unica pecca resta (non è cambiato nulla in questi anni) il personale della reception e non voglio raccontare nel dettaglio la gestione assurda della prenotazione e dell’acconto con 20 mail (non scherzo) sino al giorno della partenza. Ciò che invece voglio sottolineare è la mancanza, tuttora, di personale che parli italiano. Inconcepibile considerando che non tutti sono laureati ad Oxford, che se facessimo un censimento degli ospiti la metà, da sempre, sono italiani e pensando poi alle nostre strutture ricettizie. Quando gli austriaci (o i tedeschi) vengono per esempio a Lignano, sono pronto a scommettere che anche presso la “Pensione Rosa” a 2 stelle ci sarà sempre qualcuno che non solo parla inglese, ma anche un tedesco più che scolastico. Ecco, migliorassero questa carenza con maggiore attenzione verso noi italiani, che ripeto dura da anni, sarebbero perfetti!

Uns wurde 1200€ von zimmer gestohlen, leider sind wir zu spat draufgekommen. Wir haben Hotel informiert per email . Kam nie eine antwort, entschuldigung gar nichts . Sehr beleidigend .. Kinderessen gab es nur tiefhühlware . Das Hotel ist max 3stern . Der besitzer eher abweisend. Vieleicht weil wir aus der Slowakei kommen. Massagen sehr unterdurchsnitt gewesen von Josef. Schnell, schnell und tchus . Schade

Wir fahren seit 26 Jahren jedes Jahr an Pfingsten in die Post. Und kommen jedes Jahr sehr gerne wieder. Kleinigkeiten könnten sicher verbessert werden, aber das Gesamtpaket von Sport-/Wellness- und freizeitangeboten sind einfach sehr gut. Auch die Hotelausttattung ist überdurchschnittlich. Und das Personal ist auch wieder, nach einer kleinen Schwächephase sehr gut und freundlich. Und das alles zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältniss. Ich meine auch dies sehr gut beurteilen zu können, da ich sehr viel Reise (geschäftlich bis zu 100 Nä + Privat ca. 45-50 Nä pro Jahr)
