호텔 메트로폴레(Hotel Metropole)

체크인은 빠르고 쉬웠습니다. 우리는 일찍 체크인할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 짐을 맡기고 섬을 탐험하러 갔습니다. 방은 좋고 깨끗했습니다. 확실히 돈 가치가 있습니다.

우리는 섬에서 3일간의 멋진 방문을 했습니다. 모두 친절했습니다. 훌륭한 방, 깨끗하고 모든 것을 사용할 수 있습니다.

The room was nice, good location. The day of check in the front desk was in the back and didn’t check the front for a while, which is the only issue.

Charming hotel at the north end of downtown Avalon. Pros:Short walk to ****** and restaurants. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was modest but tasty. Beds were comfortable. Cozy fireplace for a chilly winter night. Upgraded toiletries were a pleasant surprise. Cons: Room faced busy courtyard where we were woken several times by patrons. View was of a wall. Bathroom clearly had water damage with pealing wall paper and rotten floorboards. Age of building was evident by the warped floors. Very few electrical outlets. Spotty WiFi. Normally this is not an issue, but Catalina has very limited cell coverage for anyone who doesn't have Verizon, so I was unable to receive some work emails or research activities while there.

Thank you for a superb service and very accommodating. Got there early before check in time and weather was freezing cold. I asked the front office to check in early and if they can give us half day price. He immediately checked on all the rooms and get me one. Thank you so much for the kindness and thoughtfulness. Will definitely be back soon.

Everyone was very kind and accommodating. From Asia at the front desk, Sauna at the spa, even houskeeping were all fantastic to deal and chat with daily. Thank you Metropole, I'll see you soon!

It is under construction currently but the remodeled areas are great and they are doing a good job not letting the remodel be an inconvenience.

We checked in on Dec 23, 2023 Saturday. The electricity went out for 3 days straight specifically in this hotel. While the power was out, it was freezing at night because we couldn’t turn on the heater. There was no way to take a shower with warm water & we had a 3 year old who was due for a bath. The ongoing darkness caused us to slip many times through the night. We were unable to charge our phones therefore no way to reschedule or cancel reservations we had due the following day. If it weren’t for the fact that we checked out as early as 8am we could out of your hotel (with very little battery life we had on our phone) Aside from the power going out, the toilet would not stop clogging & the maintenance showed up to our room 4 hours after our complaint. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. All other hotels regained power throughout the weekend except yours. I also have photo & video evidence with the dates attached of the electrical company Edison still working on the transformer all the way until the morning of Dec 25. I was promised a full refund of $582.62 before my departure on the night of Dec. 25. I gave your staff some grace because their computer was out. Two weeks later, I was still charged $301.39 for your hotel room that had zero power for half a day & an entire night. I am entitled to a full refund of my “stay” at your hotel. If I do not receive my full refund I will have to take this issue to social media & leave a negative review of your hotel.

This property was amazing the fact that everything is nearby is amazing as well as the fact that free breakfast is a plus !
