What we liked: We liked being in the countryside. It was quiet and we walked the roads around the property to see lovely views. We liked the food, quite excellent. What we didn't like: Taxi arrangement from the train station didn't work out, luckily an Uber was available. After that we walked to/from hotel and town -- property like this should have some kind of car shuttle. Also the food was extraordinary, but the server for dinner was somewhat unfriendly (because we are two women or because our French isn't great or because we don't want wine??). Finally, we found the room quite small and there was no indoor public sitting area to relax and read during the late afternoon when it was raining. Wifi was nominal.

Fantastic hotel in a wonderful setting. Beautiful rooms with stunning views, including the cute resident donkeys. Service was impeccable and the pool was divine. Was great hotel on our driving holiday. Would highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful and suggested some great local restaurants for us.

The hotel is austere, verging on soulless, on top of a hill with high fencing all round reinforcing the feeling of being in a compound... We did not eat in the restaurant but breakfast was a predictable buffet: too many items - meaning that cheese was dry because it had been out too long - and the croissants ran out... Coffee was filtered in a jug and, although there was a proper coffee machine, it was not offered as an alternative to the filtered jug - the staff either didn't know how to use it (my husband asked) or it was not to be used for breakfast. It would have made a huge difference to have had proper coffee. We had a standard room which was small and there was nowhere to sit - one chair/desk close to the bed - other than on the bed itself. The towels and linen were lovely.

We had birthday dinner it was the worst ever meal main course maigret canard served cold after rejection served warmer tasted od liver no vegatables fresh or warm still not good desert even worse to disgusting for words .. 125 euro later still felt sick and hungry got 2 glces of champagne for free bravo still feel dont bother

Stayed one night travelling to a wedding. Wish we had longer. Very relaxing. Very clean. Room usual size and clean. No tea and coffee making though. Restaurant on another planet. Sooo good. Everyone friendly. Lovely surroundings and quiet pool

Lovely pool, beautiful property. But for the price, we expect the wifi to work in the room and to not be attacked by mosquitoes in the night (even a warning would be better than nothing - we would have closed the windows and put the AC on if we’d known there was an issue.)

L'hôtel mentionne qu'il dispose d'une chambre PMR mais la douche ne dispose d'aucun siège pour permettre à la personne handicapée de se doucher. La chambre n'est donc pas aux normes PMR. L'hôtel propose pour dépanner un petit tabouret en bois juste pour asseoir un enfant !!! Aucune empathie de leur part pour les personnes handicapées. Un siège aux normes doit coûter trop cher en investissement pour un hôtel 4 étoiles !! Et aucun geste commercial pour le désagrément. A bannir pour les personnes en situation de handicap moteur.
