I emailed the hotel two days before my trip having received multiple emails from both the hotel and ******* which did not confirm I had booked a double room. I received an email from the owner saying he would ENSURE I had a double room. On arrival we had been allocated a twin room. As there is no reception I had to leave a voicemail message and send an email before the owner's sister politely told us they were fully booked and that there was nothing she could do. This was particularly upsetting as it was my birthday weekend. It took ******* three days to contact the owner and obtain a refund but this kind of mistake is inexcusable. The venue's "hands off" approach disguised as "convienence" is extremely unsatisfactory and I would have thought that the owner would have telephoned or emailed to apologise. The room was clean but the shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot. I would not recommend.

I hired the pool to swim for an hour. There are carpet tiles around the pool which are soaking wet and the water colour is murky green. From reviews it looks to have been like this for years. It was dirty and disgusting, my skin has been itching since swimming in the water. There was mould around the pool and the whole place looks like it’s never been cleaned. There should be public health visits to private pools, it’s disgusting that places like this can charge a lot of money for use of a pool that is so disgusting.

Came here swimming, has alot of potential, however pool tiles very dirty and slimy, pool water is warm but the room itself is very cold and the shower goes hot and cold with barely any water coming out. Expensive for the poor quality facilities.

We went to use the pool with the kids, it was great. Pool was lovely and warm and so was the building. The whole pool area was very clean, tidy and well kept. Will definitely be visiting again as it can be hired by the hour so completely private and the kids could play with their pool toys with no worries at all. For us, it was perfect and reasonably priced as well.

My partner and I have been a couple of times over the last month to use the swimming pool. We were suprised at the poor reviews as we have had good experiences both times and have recommended to friends and family who will be attending soon. The owner is friendly and wanted us to feel welcome. Although there is CCTV the privacy of having a pool to ourselves is very welcome everything is clean and a very easy to access.

We hired out the swimming pool today for the first time for an hour and the pool was amazing it’s been well maintained the cleanliness of the whole pool area and changing area was great. Great service easy to book highly recommend the best place we’ve hired out. We will definitely be back to book again. Absolutely loved it the kids had a great time.
