Lovely spotless hotel staff great check in easy , food wonderful, beds so comfy , in easy reach of Leigh, Golborne , Wigan, Ashton has some lovely shops, eateries , walking distance highly recommend!!

Lovely and clean. Friendly and efficient check in. Staff went above and beyond . Delicious evening meal and breakfast .Best nights sleep I have had in a long time , the bed was very comfy. Rooms were spacious if a little dated . Room service available but did not use .

Visited the bar ,good hard working staff. Extensive menu. Ordered a burger as BOGOF offer stated on menu for Thursday's. Unfortunately not the Thursday I was in (17/10) . It was buy one get one ! False advertising. The food we ordered was okay , mixed grill and the cheese burger .

Stayed at the bay horse as going to haydock races which is just a short walk away. Free parking rooms are very nice just refurbished and spacious,ironing board hair dryer. Rooms are joined onto the pub but can’t hear anything, the bar is good served food and the staff are very helpful and polite and welcoming. This is our second time staying here and we will stay again.

understaffed and takes an eternity to get your order. we booked a table and ordered on arrival , our drinks came after 10mins and 40 minutes later our starters arrived, after the starter I went to order more drinks but was told the coffee machine was now out of order, after a further 35 minutes wait and then we were approached by a staff member who apologised for the long wait but then informed us that the machine that cooked our meal option was broken and would we order something different this was now after 1 hour 35 minutes, needless to say he was told no and how completely inept and unacceptable the wait time and service was, we were furious so we payed for our starters and drinks and left and will not be returning to the place or giving them our custom ever again the worst service we have ever experienced.

I believe in giving anywhere a 2nd chance but what a waste of money . Again the Food was awful. It was shocking I will never eat here again . Dry and burnt burger ,cold chips . Dreadful paid £20.00 for a meal I hated
