We had a wonderful time during our 6 day stay here. While the best thing was two upgraded rooms because of a faulty aircon (that we hadn’t noticed), we had wonderful and caring service from David, Carla, Stefan, Massimo, Alessandro, Nicola and all their staff. Everyone cared, was wonderfully polite and professional. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent and each fitting and article in the hotel was absolutely top quality. The beach was just busy enough and we met some really nice Europeans which made me hate Brexit all the more. I would go there again, for sure.

Lovely, charming place and location. Very nice views, central and directly at harbour. One of the very first hotels in Sardegna. Hotel needs a massive renovation. You can even smell it. Very good restaurant. Service not professional but mostly lovely people who are trying to do their best.

Professional staff excellent service Amazing dinners by chef Ivan , great wine selection by sommelier Nicola Private beach Large clean rooms , steps from the beach 30 min from Olbia Steps to the Marina where you can have a great walk to the lovely Porto Rotando cafes and resturants

The hotel is very well kept- big room, great service. Amazing view and private beaches. The location is strategic you are walk distance from major spot. Just down few steps and you are at the Marina. Restaurant is very good quality and service is top - we like to thank Antonio the amazing hospitality and experience we have during dinner time - lunch was served at terrazzo above the marina. Next time in Porto Rotondo Hotel sporting is our choice, hope to have Antonio to greeting at entrance!!

The Hotel Sporting is an absolute gem. Located on the more quiet Porto Rotondo side of Sardinia (vs the more busy and active Porto Cervo side), this hotel is a beautiful serene Italian get away. The beach is magnificent. The restaurant is great. The service is wonderful. The hotel helped us so much with our lost baggage and were flexible with additional nights because of our flight cancellations. Valentina at the front desk was so thoughtful and kind. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel located on one side of the port wIth magnificent views over both the port and sea. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food, with eggs made to order. We ate one night in the main restaurant and the food was fantastic, the desserts though were incredible. The icing on the cake were the staff, who were all incredibly helpful and caring. Our particular thanks goes to David who couldn’t have done more to make our trip a memorable one. An overall excellent experience. Thank you.

From the decor, amenities , location and to the staff, this hotel was just incredible. We travel a lot and this was one of the most charming hotels we have been in. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The location is perfect and in walking distance to some lovely restaurants and beaches. Everything with this hotel has been thought out for your luxury.

Sehr schönes und grosses Zimmer, stets kühl auch bei ausgeschaltenem airconditioner, da dicke steinwände. Schönes Bad mit kräftigem Wasserstrahl, gut regulierbare Temperatur. Direkter Strandzugang-einfach wunderbar! Schöner kleiner Strand mit glasklarem Wasser und bequemen Liegen. Es gab immer Platz. Die Drinks sind leider zu teuer. Super Frühstücksbuffet!
