빌라 비바(Villa Viva Tanzania)

honestly the Most visted place when you what a quality time with friend & family at the rooftop. Five 5 stars for the accommodation, i really the enjoyed the pool and meal’s. Highly recommend place when visiting Arusha

A Place is so beautiful and amazing Couldn’t find a great so far till I went there Pool,Rooms and Rooftop Bar is everything needed for chilling and enjoying time with friends. I will opt it all over again Congrats for the Management

Great spacious hostel with chill hosts and a peaceful location. Amazing rooftop with a large shaded seating area, darts and pool table. Fab place to chill out or play cards with friends and we even used the roof for dance classes (I was there in off-peak season and there weren't many people staying so it was very quiet up there). Other spaces to chill throughout the building and generally strong WiFi which I could use for work calls. I found a big table on one of the floors which was perfect for remote working as it was really quiet and not many people walked past. It's also relatively easy to get to town via bus or using the phone apps to take a bajaji or taxi/motorbike. Nice poolside area and breakfast is served in a cute outdoor sofa area. I never used the pool but it looked so nice! Kitchen is quite small but free to use whenever. Fridge and freezer for storing stuff, and really convenient filtered water available for drinking. They also have a gym with spotless mirrors and run yoga classes twice a week :) activities every day for socialising, and there's the option to buy dinner for about 12,000tsh. I believe they have have a generator so you won't have issues with the frequent power cuts in tz. Only downsides are the variable breakfast quality (can be quite basic bread) and challenging water heater (always hot water available but it can be tricky figuring out how to make it the right temperature so it doesn't burn you or run out during the shower 😅). But all in all, highly recommend this place, even if it is a little more expensive than some other hostels in Arusha!

I had a private room and everything was just perfect. I liked relaxing in the pool which must be the coldest in Africa 😅 The villa is a little bit outside of town but you can get around easily with Bolt and order food to the hostel. They serve an excellent breakfast and you can also buy dinner at the villa if you want. Overall, had a great time in the villa. IfI come back to Arusha one day, I would definitely stay here again.

The Hostel is super clean the rooms are top. In the Hostel is a nice and chilled amtosphere where it is super easy to meet new people. The stuff is super helpful. There are a Lot of activities you can Go to such as the Movie Night oder spa days. The Rooftop is Perfect for relaxing during the day and having fun with friends in the evening. All in all a top Experience.

Really good stuff. Very nice place with a good atmosphere and lots of friendly people. Nice rooftop bar with pool table and darts board. Very fun. We are Englishmen and will come back to the motherland with beaming approval. The weather played the game also, and the pool was very refreshing to quell the heat.

We stayed six weeks at Villa Viva. Excellent accommodations and friendly staff. Everyone was responsive and worked to ensure our needs were met. Intermittent power outages is a city-wide problem, but the on-site generator kept things going for the most part. Great hub to organize further outings in the region (safari, climbing, tours, etc.) Arusha writ large has trouble accommodating our dietary preferences (a vegan person and a gluten free person), and some of that was reflected in the hostel meals, but overall it was nice having breakfast and dinner available every day. Additionally, the hostel works hard to ensure there are regular evening activities to engage the guests (movie and game nights, rooftop parties). There was even a surprise birthday party with performing acrobats. Overall, we had a stellar time. Would come again :)

Great hostel with a very family like vibe! Rooms were clean and spacious! Dinner available at very democratic price, breakfast included but can be improved. Maybe less time but more freshly prepared? The Hostel had an overall safe feeling and staff was happy to help where needed.
