Vila Gale Nautico provided us with a wonderful and relaxing stay. From the friendly greeting at the front desk on arrival, all the staff were so gracious. We would like to highlight the Dining Room staff, Jose, Ayla and Paula they are outstanding on customer service always with a smile and made dining a pleasure. The food options were excellent and always fresh and delicious. We look forward to a return visit.

We arrived late on arrival date and instantly knew there was an issue with our room. Let me firstly say this was not the hotels problem but the way that Tui our travel agent had portrayed the room. Our junior ‘suite’ was nothing more that 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The room was adequate for a weeks stay, however no tea or coffee facilities which our room was supposed to come with, apparently thisnis only on request. They came up promptly with it however the tea bags etc were not replaced during our stay which made it pointless. The room was clean, though could do with a repaint and the bathroom needs a refurb massively with what looks like paint flaking from the bottom of the bath and mould in the under sink cupboard which is un useable. The staff however very friendly and all the downstairs areas are kept very lovely. The pool is nice and was never over run however we are not in the school holiday time so this could be busy then I guess. In checkout we found it weird that we had to have our bands cut off at 12 and then we’re not able to use the snack bar during the day after 12 without paying despite arriving at 10pm the week before so didn’t quite get our 7 days worth of all inclusive. Despite a few issue we have had a lovely time, things an area of Portugal we haven’t been before and really enjoyed exploring the local tourist spots and town. We felt let down by our travel agent as the room was portrayed to have 2 bedrooms and a lounge area with 2 sofas and coffee table but apparently this is only for an accessible room. So please be careful which room you are booking so you are not disappointed. Again this was not the hotels fault

Beautiful hotel I stayed for a week with my family (children) very welcoming staff and efficient within the service. Excellent food choices for the all inclusive buffet with a variety of foods catering for people’s preferences / dietary requirements. As well as the snack bar open in the day with food and drinks. The rooms are bright and clean everyday restocked mini fridge with different drinks, clean towels and made beds aircon was really good kept rooms cool. Only downfall was the shower head the pressure is slow and ants in room, lovely view on balcony of the sea as beach is 3 minute walk. The main outdoor pool is safe with it not being too deep as well as a baby pool with 2 water slides, only downfall is the pools aren’t heated so are really cold helps when it’s sunny to warm up. Definitely will come here again next year lovely atmosphere and the entertainment was good for the children and themed nights and with the food.

Lovely hotel for families, great pool area and daytime activities for children, plus evening mini disco. Indoor pool was great for getting little ones out of the sun, hotel sells swim hats for 4 euro. We were all inclusive, breakfast was great with omelettes cooked to order and themed nights included an outdoor barbecue. The speciality Italian restaurant was fabulous, one night is included as part of all inclusive; some waters, soda and beer also included in room mini bar. Drinks selection was good, with a decent beer, nice wines and some cocktails; bar staff let us have cocktail of the day on different days and also made some gin and rum cocktails as requested. Hotel help to book a boat trip with a local company, fabulous view of caves and beaches.

Just got back from a weeks stay at the Vila Gale Nautico and just wanted to say this hotel is excellent! The staff are incredible and friendly. They are great with kids and they can provide for anything you ask of them. Special mention to Paula and the rest of the kitchen and waitress/ waiter staff you were amazing. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard also. Classy hotel 🙌

We went as a couple. After a 4 hour journey 2 hours on plane and nearly 2 hours on coach, we were told our rooms weren't ready. We were happy to chill by the pool and have some food. Luckily our room was ready by 2pm. Apart from this, we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to do arcade game, pool,gymn, entertainment. The beach is a 3 min walk and can also go into town and explore the other beaches. The town itself is very quiet but has some lovely gift shops and restaurants. Boat trips are available in the town and there is also a train which myself and husband call the 'wally trolley'. Food is lovely at the hotel and a variety of options for kids and adults. Also a lovely Italian restaurant you can book, first meal is free and 2nd meal you get 30% off if your an all inclusive customer. We would definitely come back here and have recommended the hotel to others already
