호텔 살렛 베르두(Hotel Xalet Verdu)

La verdad que ha sido una buena experiencia. El personal de comedor, encantador tanto Morgen como Goret (tal vez no lo haya escrito correctamente), de diez. El personal de recepción, amables y muy simpáticos, Dani, Sole y otra chica , muy atentos. El personal de limpieza, siempre a punto... nada que objetar....

Stayed here for the half term week with our two children. The hotel is fabulous. Only a 5 minute walk to the cable car so ideal for skiing. The rooms were basic but very clean and spacious. The two children had their own twin beds which was great. Food was fantastic - huge choice of buffet starters, followed by a choice of 3 mains and 3 desserts. The staff were all wonderful. Food quality especially the meat was exceptional. Breakfast was also very good and slightly different each day so didn't get repetitive, Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay here this week with my family and friends. The food is lovely and there is a lot of variety in the menu options. The staff are the most attentive, welcoming and friendly and it was a pleasure to get to know them during the week. The location is perfect and is very close to all amenities. Many thanks to the waitresses and especially Nelo for looking after is so well and making us laugh. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Andorra!

I just can’t fault this place. We went for New Year and had limited expectations given how good value the package was through Crystal Ski. The owners and staff made it a New Year to remember with a 7 course banquet, flowing wine, amazing hospitality and truly authentic Andorran experience. We were half board and the breakfast and evening meal continued to be of a high standard throughout the week. Nelo, the Head Waiter and his team were attentive and efficient The hotel is a short walk from the gondola and Arinsal Centre. The rooms are comfortable and clean. What more could you want?

This hotel was faultless, the staff were very accommodating. Food was amazing. Location perfect for the ski gondola. Would definitely recommend. From check in to check out the staff did everything they could to accommodate. The balcony room we had have a lovely view over the mountains

I have just stayed in 21 hotels across the Pyrenees. This is on e of the top Hatels we stayed at. It was excellent The highlight being the staff. All were happy and eager to please. The Hotel is very pretty and they have a wonderful basement for parking - especially for bikers. Andorra is highly populated and very dense howeverf the Hotel Xalet Verdu is towards the end of a busy road and not "quite" as dense. If you are going to Andorra you will not go wrong by stayhimng at this Hotel

Would highly recommend this hotel !! Rooms are immaculately clean , spacious and kept at a comfortable temperature. Room came with a coffee maker which we did not use but a great addition. Always plenty of hot water and a full size bath which was welcome after a day on the slopes . I cannot fault the friendliness of the staff , they are very welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. The hospitality we received was without fault all week. The food was delicious, buffet breakfast with a wide selection to suit all, fruit , bread, cakes and cereal as well as a different hot selection daily . Dinner was well organised with a buffet starter which changed daily and always had a good choice for all. Main and dessert a selection of three options which never failed to disappoint! The hotel is slightly uphill from the main gondela in Arinsal, it makes the hotel a little quieter away from the main bars ect , but still only a 5 min walk . The free bus will also drop you right outside if you ask ,which is great if you are carrying skis ect. The hotel has ski lockers , or for those wanting you can rent a locker up the mountain , however this is only useful if you stay within the Arinsal area. We used the hotel lockers so we had flexibility over where we skied. I would not hesitate to return , the hotel offers a great base for the vallnord ski area and boosts incredible value for money . My wife and I have stayed in this hotel many times before, 2 or 3 times a year for the past 10 years (excluding covid) and will continue to stay here in the future. Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Plenty of food choice in the restaurant and as much as you can eat!

As far as ski hotels in a lower priced ski resort go there were little faults to go with the Xalet Verdu. Good location which is an easy (ish) walk to the bars/restaurants and mainly the lift. It is on a bit of a hill so highly recommended buying the ski lockers up the top of the gondola it really made life easier. But as there isn't much past the hotel it is pretty quiet on an evening which is a plus. Shower didn't sit in the holder but just used it hand-held and the pressure and heat was brilliant. Room was perfectly fine. No frills but comfortable and spacious. Windows are not the best for noise but as mentioned you don't get much in the way of noise outside. Only issue we really had was the door handle snapped in half when opening it which wasn't ideal. Went to the front desk on the way out to ski and they had it fixed before we got back for the day. No drama. Now the real highlight to the hotel is the restaurant. We were on half board and I wasn't expecting much and just hoped it was edible with the expectation of eating out more often than not. As it turned out the food was really good and we only ate out once. The restaurant staff were all really good at breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious obviously with some meals better than others but we'll worth eating there! Would highly recommend and would go back to the hotel if going back to arinsal no question.
