Really can't fault this hotel. Perfect location in the middle of Lassi, lovely see views from rooms and the pool area, which is spacious with plenty of sunbeds and an outstanding pool bar. Rooms are fine with plenty of storage. Standard continental breakfast, bread, cheese eggs, fruit etc. If I came back to Lassi, this would be my hotel of choice.

Not a big hotel. Quiet. Exceptionally clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic breakfast. Nice size rooms.

The hotel team are brilliant nothing is to much for them. The pool is cleaned every day, sunbeds, tables,round the pool and rooms. The rooms are basic but extremely clean and I am surprised it is only 2* I have definitely stayed in worse 4*. The breakfast is very similar daily but food is Greek and lovely and I have no complaints about it. Views over the pool and sea are fantastic. I will definitely be going again 🥰

Lassi is really a one main street with plenty of restaurants . avoid coming at Easter nearly everything shuts down .the hotel is spotless friendly staff and helpful. Alex in the main bar at night is a great lad will find the football if he can .clare(Welsh girl) at breakfast is a lovely hardworking and friendly girl .calliroy on reception is another friendly and hardworking lady full of information and always had time for a chatt.the wifi is very good thank you all at lorenzo hotel .your staff are a credit to your company .ps lads alpha beer or flix beer is better than mythos beer

The Lorenzo Hotel is located on the hill down to the more expensive Mediteranee. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff and the hotel dog, very friendly. On arrival there was water in our fridge, a compliment they extend to your leave. The pool is lovely and clean with showers and toilets and a lovely little snack bar with reasonable prices e.g. Wine 3 euro, Ouzo £3.50. There is no bar in the evening but the Aqua Bar next door does happy hour from 6 to 9 where cocktails are only 4 euro. They also do reasonably priced meals and a Greek nigh on a Sunday. Feel free to access the beach to the left of the Mediteranee hotel. There is boat hire from Lassi boats about £100 euro a day. Unicorn rentals do a 125 scooter for 25 euro. Don’t use Euronet cash points – they charge £103 for £100 Euro. Use Alpha bank in Argostoli 400 euros came to £346. It pays for a scooter or taxi down. Breakfast is basic but we never had to eat out. There is coffee, tea, juices. Lots of bread and cakes. Ham cheese and eggs. Lots of melon. There is no gluten free bread or rolls. Breakfast could be improved with daily sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, some sliced onions and olives. Maybe some grapes. Car parking is also free on the right of the hotel looking to the beach. Over all a lovely friendly base. Our favourite restaurant was Kefalos. Huge portions and excellent quality, yet the cheapest. The supermarket at the top of the hill is about 33% dearer than ABs in town, so stock up. The busses are not worth the wait at 2 euro into town, when its 8 for a taxi. Will definitely return.

Lovely traditional style hotel, spotlessly clean, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Situated in an excellent location. Stunning beaches and a good choice of restaurant's nearby. Argostoli in the evening is definitely worth a visit for a meal on the Platia and a walk around the shops. The pool area has a nice feel with lush green lawns and palm trees. The pool itself is kept nice and clean and is a good size for swimming. Alex and Voula who work at the pool bar were exceptional and always served us with a smile. In fact all the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Tasty and fresh continental breakfast with decent coffee each day. We were lucky enough to get a table outside on the terrace each morning overlooking the pool and sea. To be honest the only gripe we had, was that some of the guests were up really early 'reserving' sunbeds with their towels and then going off. We felt this was unfair and so annoying. Me and my partner booked the top appartment through air BNB for 7 nights and my children came out to join us for 2 nights at the end of our holiday. This place was absolutely fantastic the apartment was huge and lovely very well equipped. The views were fantastic we could not have wanted anything better. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The receptionist who worked through the evening was lovely and gave us great advice where to go when we hired a car for 3 days. The breakfast was continental which was perfectly fine as you don’t want much more with the heat. The pool area and bar was very good we only used this on our last day as we wanted to explore the islands. The whole place was very well maintained. There are some gorgeous beaches right in the doorstep so you don’t need to hire a car if you don’t want to also some lovely restaurants in walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you to all of the staff we had a wonderfully time 💗 Kefalonia is such a beautiful island and a must visit for anyone. Dawn & Neil

We had a wonderful 11 night holiday in Kefalonia staying in Hotel Lorenzo in the Lassi area of the island The hotel was lovely and clean but is looking a bit tired and would benefit from a make over The staff were very helpful and friendly the Barman Alex must be the hardest working person I know while still making jokes and keeping everyone happy with his friendly banter - he deserves to be the Manager one day The rooms were kept clean and bright thanks to the housekeepers, the pool is lovely and the staff at the pool bar will keep you fed and watered as long as you need it For me the electrics looked a little concerning and could do with a good electrician giving them an over haul and upgrade Also every morning a washing machine or tumble dryer is put on which has an awful squeak which echoes around the hotel which really should be address as it is a quick and easy fix I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in this part of Kefalonia

This hotel is exceptionally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean. We were at the back of the hotel and was a little disappointed at first. However I soon realised that the rooms with the sea views were in full sun in the afternoon and early evening and I did not see anyone sitting on the balconies during this time as it was probably too hot. The rooms at the back have the sun in the morning but very pleasant to sit out on the balcony in the afternoon and early evening. Also great for people watching. Unfortunately there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Luckily I had taken my travel kettle. There is a safe and air conditioning in the rooms. The payment for the air conditioning was €5 per day. We travelled with JET 2. I understand that some people had to pay €7 per day with some other travel companies. I think the safe cost was approximately €20 for 2 weeks. Bedding was changed frequently and towels were replenished as required by leaving the towels on the bathroom floor. Shower was not so good as it was difficult to position without it falling off. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Pool was lovely but not heated. Pool ladders into the pool are difficult. Would benefit from proper steps for those people who find the pool ladders difficult. The pool ladders need replacing with rungs that have more depth. Great pool bar that sell a good range of snacks both hot and cold. This is only open for food for a limited period. Think it is between midday and 3.pm. Some days it was difficult to get a pool lounger due to people reserving them from very early on and then not coming down to the pool until midday or later. There is a bar in the hotel which is open in the evening that provides a good range of drinks and the barman is lovely. Breakfast is as you would expect, continental. It consisted of yoghurt, mainly tinned peaches, occasionally water melon, cheeses, ham, boiled eggs, bread, small croissants and pastries and tea and coffee. Would benefit from including fresh fruit every day. We bought some fresh peaches from the supermarket nearby and took them down to breakfast as we are not keen on tinned fruit. Also the bread was cut very thinly and not ideal for toast. Greece has lovely bread usually. The hotel is a short walk to the Main Street where there are plenty of tavernas. Also it is a short walk to the nearest beach where a parasol and 2 loungers cost €10 per day. The beach is lovely and the sea is so clear. You need to get down early to get your sun loungers. Even in September all the loungers had gone by 11am. I would not advise going to Makris Gialos beach which is a good 20 minute from the hotel and a large number of steps onto the beach. We were told it was €20 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol at the back and an extortionate €35 on the front row.
