Moon Palace Hotel

I stayed in the Moon Palace Hotel in Arese in 2023 and really liked it, which was why I returned this time when I attended an event in the town. The staff are really nice and helpful, the room was comfortable (after asking how to turn down the heat), clean and a good size and the wi-fi is more than reasonable. I also like the modern architecture of the complex and the modern art sculpture in the grounds. Caffè made on a proper espresso machine is also available which is a bonus! On the downside, I travel by public transport and Arese doesn't have its own station and isn't well served by bus - Sunday service is only four buses each way throughout the whole day - which, though it's not the fault of the hotel, makes it somewhat inconvenient if you don't have your own transport. The breakfast isn't bad by any means, but there was no real provision for vegans, though I didn't try the cereal because I couldn't see any milk or any plant-based substitute but I have to admit that I didn't ask. I'd still recommend Moon Palace to any traveller - it's unbelievably good value for money delivered with a friendly smile!

I travel to Italy when suitable rock concerts are advertised and when I heard Banaau were performing in Arese, just north of Milan, I worked out that transport and accommodation were both logistically feasible, deciding on the Moon Palace hotel because it was a 10 minute walk to the concert venue. It has to be said that there's really not very much to see or do in Arese unless you're interested in Alfa Romeo cars - the former car plant has been converted to a giant out-of-town shopping mall with the motor museum situated close by. Set in a mid-century development known as the Giada Center, I was impressed with the low-rise terraces that form an attractive architecture an in front of the hotel there's a sculptural set 'L'evoluzione dell'uomo' (Evolution of Man) by Giacomo Corti, created in 1984. Once inside the hotel we found the staff really helpful and friendly; our room was large, clean and comfortable with an excellent wi-fi connection; and the following morning the buffet breakfast offered a wide choice. There was nothing we didn't like, but it was obvious the hotel had only recently opened as Moon Palace, so there were some minor issues to be ironed out, missing items you'd normally find in hotels of any standard. The room had no guide to the area or a local map; there were no instructions how to use the TV or which channels were available - a global news service would have been nice; the paper cups weren't replaced once they'd been used; there were no facial tissues; there were no bags for female sanitary products; and lastly you had to re-enter the wi-fi username and password if you turned off your device or took it away from the hotel. Nothing that couldn't be swiftly remedied. I'd probably not recommend the hotel to anyone who wanted to take lots of trips into the centre of Milan using public transport because the bus, which stopped right outside the hotel, was infrequent and took a circuitous route to get to Rho Fiera station, but I'd not hesitate to recommend it to those with their own transport.

Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und das Bad sehr sauber, was für einen entspannten Aufenthalt gesorgt hat. Das Frühstück war zwar lecker, allerdings etwas knapp und leider ohne Spiegeleier. Wer abends draußen sitzen möchte, sollte Mückenspray nicht vergessen – es gibt viele Stechmücken. Insgesamt aber ein guter Aufenthalt, freundliches Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre. Würden wiederkommen!

Wir haben dort eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbracht. Das Hotel befindet sich versteckt in einem kleinen Shoppingcenter und Wohngebiet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Zimmer sind sauber.Es gibt einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, was bei den warmen Temperaturen von Vorteil ist. Schön sind auch die anliegenden Grünanlagen.

Muito agradável. Quartos limpos. Staff muito simpático. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Compensou o dinheiro. Se estacionarem na parte de trás pode ser mais difícil encontrar a entrada, mas é acessível. Zona calma. Gostamos muito da estadia no hotel.
