호텔 나란호 데 불네스(Hotel Naranjo de Bulnes)

This is a great option if you are in town for hiking, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The guy who works the front desk is super personable and will help with hiking routes, restaurants, whatever you need, and he is also a wonderful host - very friendly, very charismatic. The view from our windows of the mountains was outstanding. You will have to shut the curtains ok n the afternoon to keep the heat out, but you won't be there anyway. You'll be hiking or eating or visiting a cheese cave.

After a few nights camping we booked last minute to stay in this hotel as it was all that was available in Arenales. It was a little beyond the budget we wanted to spend but it was a fabulous stay. The staff were friendly and a special mention must be made of Albert, who checked us in at 20.45 and was full of good info about trails,bus tickets to trailheads, etc. We had a superior suite with fabulous views over the surrounding peaks, the room was clean, toiletries and white fluffy towels supplied. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We skipped breakfast the first day, it wasn't part of our package and we wanted to hit the trail early, however our second day we took it more leisurely and opted for the 9 euro pp buffet and it was a good spread. Breakfast in a local cafe will cost you 4 € for coffee and tomato tostada. There are several good restaurant option but you need to reserve in high season. Prices are mostly fair and decent portions for hungry hikers. I'm happy we decided to stay in Arenales over Poncebos, which has a lot less on offer.

Wonderful place with helpful and friendly staff in a beautiful part of the world. Not far from the start of the Ruta de Cares with excellent access to a great variety of hiking in the Picos de Europa.

A memorable stay at this hotel. Waking up to a view onto the mountains was priceless. Alberto was friendly and knowledgeable and had some great recommendations. It was quick walk to the restaurants. A great place to access hiking in the Picos and not far from Lagos. Will treasure our memories from this trip for a long while.

Great location, close to bus stop. Hotel manager was friendly, and helpful. I'd definitely stay again in this hotel.

Accueil très agréable par l ensemble du personnel. Chambre spacieuse avec belle vue sur les Picos de Europa. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Literie confortable. Hôtel situé au coeur du village, parking à proximité appréciable. Seul petit bémol: insonorité de la rue insuffisante.

Estuvimos alojados en este hotel 4 noches (viernes 7/04 - martes 11/04) en Arenas de Cabrales. Super recomendable, un hotel muy correcto, muy limpio, bastante amplio y con muy buenas vistas. El personal de recepción majísimo, super atento, y además nos hicieron muy buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes. Excelente experiencia, recomendable sin duda :).

Frequento questo albergo ormai da molti anni e mi trovo benissimo: per la collocazione, per il rapporto qualità-prezzo, per la pulizia delle stanze, per la cortesia e l'efficienza del personale. Spero di tornarci ancora.

Es un hotel muy correcto, el personal de recepción es muy amable. Parking gratuito a 20 metros y desayuno buffet por 6.60. La oferta en restauración en Cabrales es muy grande, así que no hay problema si no se contrata el desayuno. Sin duda es un gran lugar para hacer pernocta y hacer dos de las rutas más clásicas de montaña de Asturias (El Cares y Urriellu). Arenas de cabrales está a sólo 30 minutos de Cangas de Onis y 40 de Llanes, dos de "las capitales" del turismo en Asturias, con lo cual es una muy buena opción para alojamiento y turismo activo.
