Arco Smart Hotel

The room was not clean enough for a 4 star hotel. There was hair color on the walls and tiles in the bathroom, maybe from the last guests. The breakfast was good enough, apart from the coffee, which was undrinkable. Dinner was not good, the fish and pasta were overcooked, the salads were prepared with little care. Whoever arrives later gets only what is left. The girls in the restaurant were rude. At 20:30 guests were thrown out of the restaurant.

Nice hotel but could be better, We stayed here with an all inclusive shearing holiday and on arrival was met by a wonderful male receptionist(sorry can't remember his name) On recieving our room key card we went up and found we'd been given what I can only describe as the cleaning closet(room 305) the room was so small it was embarrassing, and to make it worse when I went to open the curtains to see what kind of view we had they came away from the rail, my wife had to rebuild the shower head and when I tried the Aircon it came off in my hand. So down to reception I went and luckily we we're moved to another room and informed that the Aircon systems had been deactivated due to it now been there winter period (still in the mid to high 20's) Right room sorted now down to the all inclusive or the somewhat lack of it for non-alcohol drinkers, the hotel didn't include alcohol free lagers in the deal and charged €3.50 a bottle for it so off to the local Aldi and 6x pack was bought for €6. Now onto the food, for me been a meat eater I was happy with the selection but unfortunately for my wife who's a vegetarian there was little options other than salads, cold aubergine or courgette and the occasional pasta dish(I had to check these as some came with either tuna or chicken mixed through them) Breakfast was the highlight of the day as it never changed and my wife loves scrambled eggs which was supplied every morning. Unfortunately due the location of the hotel there was no entertainment on an evening as the local residents seemed to complain about any noise made from the hotel grounds but didn't mind if there neighbours made a racket at silly o'clock in the morning. The local area around the hotel was a few small shops and a chemist at the rear of the hotel was a helpful addition. And a selection of small cafés and restaurants added to its charm, only drawback is the town is approximately 3.5k from lake Garda so you need to get a bus to Riva del Garda which we were told was only €2 each way. Other than the shocking first room we were given the hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff can't do enough for you.

Hotel very clean, I had a large room with a balcony. There was a good variety of food for all meals, We were on a drinks inclusive package with Shearings, which meant there were drinks available from 12md to 10pm, you could help yourself to hot drinks, beer, wine and soft drinks during this time. Staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel was situated within a few minutes from the town centre, there was a lovely walk up to the castle ( but would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems as it was very steep),there were also a few shops in the immediate vicinity, e.g. a chemist. Hotel has a small swimming pool, but I did not use this during my time there. Overall, very pleased. I would stay at this hotel again.

This is a good hotel with okay food. Breakfast is great and some plates for lunch and dinner are pretty good. They have food for celiacs!!!! Beds/mattress need to be renewed. Stuff is great! Impeccable service! The location is very good as well.

We were on a Shearings holiday and this hotel was the tour's base hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, spotless and well maintained. The restaurant offered real variety in its food being offered and was excellent in quality. Being a coeliac, my diet was well supported. All in all a,great experience.

amazing staff, polite, serious and available to answer any doubts and requests. pretty fast in managing problems. great range of food selection for breakfast and dinner. lovely and clean areas. nice swimming pool. if there's gonna be a next time, i'll make sure to try the spa

Situated in the centre of Arco with beautiful views of the mountains Arco smart hotel is a wonderful hotel to stay in with friendly staff ,great food and drink a great atmosphere With plenty of cafes and bars in town to cater for the climbers and cyclists and walkers there is no better place to stay than the smart Arco hotel

Initial impression was a bit of a let down, but once in the hotel the staff were fantastic friendly and knowledgeable, food was delicious rooms were very clean and serviced each day. Hotel is very close to bus station and reception is more than happy to book you a taxi should you need it. Beautiful town centre is only a km away and has lovely vibe in the evenings. Riva del Garda is on a few minutes away so you’re not stuck for stuff to do.

Hotel was our base for our Ledger holiday to lake Garda, Verona and Venice. The hotel was located quite close to many of the attractions in Arco, which is a lovely little town. Nice pool area. Staff were very friendly.
