3 days ago on Google Under the general management of Renan, the place runs beautifully, like a perfectly tuned orchestra. Polite and attentive staff focused on meeting guests’ needs, delicious cuisine, and beautiful facilities The hotel and thermal baths offer unforgettable experiences. The stunning landscapes and lush nature are a spectacle in themselves, connecting us with the beauty and goodness of existence. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

Throughly enjoyed our experience at this 5 star SPA near the small town of Araxá in country side of Minas Gerais state. The service is outstanding. Staff greeted us by name and did their utmost to make us feel at home. Rita, Washington, Jairo, Mario, Catarina and so many others make this hotel truly world class. Every room is old world decorated, the many ballrooms remines European classic style and it’s hard to believe we are in South America. The Thermas are a tranquil place to relax and rewind. We strongly sugget Grande Hotel Araxá to anyone visiting Brazil.

The hotel is beautiful, and in a spectacular setting. The room I had was nice and clean, the bed was super comfy. What really makes the hotel stand out are the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. Most notably for myself: - Mirella and Gabriel on reception. - Natasha and Gabriel in the restaurant/bar All of who'm were so friendly and professional, and really made the stay pleasant.

Historical hotel from 1944, mostly with original furniture. Comfortable bed, the shower takes so long to hot the water but it's good after that. I had to ask for cleaning my room everyday, I don't know how they control this. Staff are very kind and helpful, the place is wonderful to get some rest surrounded by nature and they have some great options for body care in the Thermas. Quality decreases when the place gets crowded.

Excelente service. Wendley is so friendly and did an excellent job serving our table. I would highly recommend to visit the hotel and the restaurant Chez Beja. The food was so delicious. They have so many options to choose from. The dessert was amazing as well

The personnel are well prepared, very polite, and friendly. Shout out to Jairo, the bellhop who remembers everyone’s names, Hugo, pool atendent, Mario, bellhop, Wendley, our waiter and Silvaney, masseuse . We loved our experience at the hotel. Dinner at Chez Beja was excellent.

Apesar da distância (viajei 4,5 horas...) valeu cada km! Lugar sensacional! Muita paz muita história. Comida igualmente incrível! Staff hiper atencioso, de uma forma geral! Um destaque ao "tio Pudim" que fez o tour guiado pela história do hotel, curiosidades, suíte presidencial do Getúlio Vargas...percebe-se que ele tem interesse tanto pela história em si como curiosidades...vale demais a pena! Para mim, o único ponto negativo foi a cama do quarto, torta e bastante desconfortável... mas os lençóis divinos e o quarto muito limpo! Recomendo muitíssimo!
