It is 3 miles (10 minutes) from the French Quarter in the safest neighborhood in the city. The house has 12 foot ceilings. There are 3 full baths. This house has all of the character of an old New Orleans home. I have Wifi, a complete kitchen and a large yard that has newly built pergola with a patio set. From the house, it is nice to watch cruise ships, river boats and other vessels traveling on the Mississippi River. Also, there is off street parking. This is the safest area in the city! Unlike New Orleans, we have plenty of police in Arabi and they do not tolerate any riff-raft coming here to commit crimes. Arabi is in St.Bernard Parish(county). My wife and I love New Orleans. We have our favorite restaurants and places to go in New Orleans, but we love coming back to our house in St. Bernard Parish to safely sleep at night with peace of mind.
