Guys helped us with everything. They found a ticket for a JETT bus, picked us up at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, etc. But most importantly, we felt like friends with the guys who took care of the camp, especially with Samer (if you are Czech, he lived in Pizen, so talk to him :)). We danced, played table games with them and talked for a few hours. Two days later Samer took us to a Turkish bathroom and the Downtown, showed us local food, and arranged prices for the locals in the shops, and made our trip even better. We are still in touch and I made such a good friend. Wadi Rum is an amazing place, and the jeep tour was awesome. (You can climb there if you want, but you don't have a belay, and it's at your own risk - but I recommend it; so take climbing shoes.) The only thing: the water in the shower was extremely cold, but we took it as a challenge. Don't miss the sunset and sunrise, there is a big stone where you can climb and it's definitely worth it. 1. Location - Protected Area ( No AC allowed to build in Protected Area) 2. Far away from the Highway(fumes, light pollution) 3. Safe for female SOLO travelers. ( might be the only one that is safe for women in the whole desert, i have been visiting Wadi Rum camps since 2010 yearly !) 4. Great, Homemade Jordanian Food ! 5. Quite, usually not crowded. 6. Bathroom, beds, bedsheets, pillows, extra blankets, mirror, electrical outlet available in the room. 7. Has econom rooms, as well as Panorama rooms with a wall size window facing beautiful Wadi Rum Valley. 8. Great spot for quite stargazing at night, you can ask for special mattress and sleep outdoors from april to october easily. 9. No loud music, no bothering from the staff, you are left alone to enjoy the beauty of the desert. 10. I highly recommend this camp if you like serenity and simplicity.

Amazing place, friendly staff, and great service. The highlights of this resort is its cleanliness and food. The tours were extremely enjoyable with lots of adventurous rocks climbing and sand walking. The area has a great positive aura. Overall, it was a greta experience!

Ich habe selber per whatsapp ein paar Tage vor der Anreise reserviert. Ich habe zwei Nächte im Camp verbracht. Alles hat einwandfrei und wie vereinbart geklappt. Ich wurde im Visitor Center abgeholt. Das Camp hat hute Ausstattung, ich hatte eine private Badezimmer, und das Bungalow war abschließbar. Es waren wenig Gäste außer mir da, aber wegen der aktuellen Situation ist das überall in Jordanien so, also nicht den Camp geschuldet. Essen war sehr lecker, an einer der Abende wurde für uns traditionell unterirdisch gekocht. Ich habe auch eine ganztägige Jeep Tour in der Wüste gemacht. Ich bin alleine als Frau gereist und habe mich immer sehr sicher gefühlt.

Bellissimo campo tendato proprio al centro del Wadi Rum.La nostra camera aveva il bagno privato con abbastanza comfort,tenendo presente dove si trova e con la scarsità di acqua del deserto.( Ritengo che chi vuole trovare nel Wadi Rum un Hotel a 5 stelle è meglio se soggiorna ad Aqaba,a pochi chilometri,dopo il giro in Jeep ma si perde il fascino del deserto al tramonto ed all'alba e il cielo stellato notturno ).Il campo è gestito dal " Doctoeur" un personaggio da conoscere assolutamente,bravissimo cuoco ed esperto driver,e dotato di un'umorismo coinvolgente,è stato come essere in famiglia.Il Camp fornisce la mezza pensione ed in collaborazione con i Beduini del Wadi la possibilità di fare gite sia in Jeep che in cammello che a piedi sempre accompagnati da guide locali esperte e gentili.E'stata un esperienza fantastica.Ultima cosa: per arrivarci fatevi accompagnare nel Wadi in un Tour con visita di Petra compresa, dal bravissimo,simpaticissimo "Driver" Rabieh che gestisce un negozio etnico a Paris Square in Amman,chiedete di Lui e fatevi accompagnare in giro per la Giordania: Paese meraviglioso.

En teoría te venden como una noche en el desierto, con su anochecer y su amanecer en un lugar agradable. Pues de agradable nada. Son cabañas de piedra a las que han puesto unas telas por fuera y por dentro, con tres o cuatro camas cada cabaña, aunque vayas solo te meten en una de esas, y con un baño impresentable y en algunas cabañas sin agua ni fría ni caliente. Tiene un lugar donde cenar y desayunar, todo buffet, Variedad poca, ya que se basa en el arroz, el pollo y el cordero que hacen en el horno típico que se encuentra en la tierra, para la cena, y poco más que algo de embutido y huevos para el desayuno.
