Absolute amazing time at this world class resort. The signature private pool suite was amazing. Probably the most beautiful hotel room we have stayed at. Service was amazing. Food was equally as good. The private beach was beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A+ in service, accommodations and environment. Would definitely come back.

We booked this hotel due to the fantastic marketing email from Marriott, it looked like a gem. When we arrived at the property, we were met by staff who took our cases and car to be parked… Entering the room, the air conditioning simply wasn’t working to cool the room, we’d had a hot boat trip and wanted to shower, change and explore the facilities - but our cases didn’t arrive for another 2 hours, despite phone calls to reception. We waited for staff to fix the air con, but were then told it was down to us… it simply didn’t work, this was the third hotel we’d stayed in our our trip and the air con was by far the least effective. Location wise, it was down a dirt track which was more like a route for 4x4 adventures than to a top class hotel. The food was disappointing and the pool was not inviting. It really didn’t deliver on the Greek hospitality we’d experienced elsewhere. The receptionist, who was a professor is an asset to the Marriott team, and while some staff were friendly, it just was way below the standard we’ve experienced at other hotels in the chain. Our request to upgrade to a plunge pool room was met with a ridiculously high price quoted, when if our room had been of the standard expected, we’d not have asked to change. Despite raising complaints politely, none of the issues were rectified. I’d recommend saving your money and staying at a different hotel on Tinos, it’s a wonderful island, but this is not worth the stay.

Excellent hotel with a nice view. We had a room with shared pool access which was nice. The beach was very relaxing. Food was excellent overall : nice breakfast buffet, lunch by the beach and dinner at night (all options were nice). Staff was friendly overall.

A wonderful, scenic and peaceful location. The pool is amazing as is the beach (with super helpful staff). The rooms were spotlessly clean with super housekeeping service. This was the first season so a few things obviously need to be ironed out but nothing that detracted from a great stay. Note that the road to hotel from the main road is little more than a rutted track and learned that not all taxis are willing to use it. No doubt this will be improved with time. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant was excellent with charming service.

Where to start... this is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever been to!. The location on top of a private cove beach , gives you dreamy views constantly. They gave us an upgrade, and the room was to die for... with a private giant pool to top it off. The room was impeccably cleaned every day and including the turn down service. Just perfection. The best though, the people: house keeping is amazing as described above, the teams at reception both morning and evening, were the nicest and most helpful ever!! thank you all so much!! specially Dimitri (apologies if not the right spelling) the concierge, who helped us with everything we needed, all our questions about Tinos, and also recommending us a great Rent a car service: Dassiras Rent a car. Great value, service, and information was provided by Marietta. If you need to rent a car, go with them!! in fact, i recommend arranging a transfer through the hotel from the ferry station, if you are not renting a car, since the taxi fares are completely exorbitant... even taxis in Mikonos are cheaper...dont use them. But if you plan on visiting the island, for the best value, rent a car with Marietta! At the hotel you feel at home as you walk in. The different common spaces, are beautifully decorated, and inviting to rest, and spend time on. The SPA is wonderful, as it is their staff, they take care of you as if you are their only customer, we were very impressed. And what to say about the food... OMG, it was soo good!!! from breakfast by the pool, the beach bar, and gourmet dinners.... the quality, presentation, creativity... we loved it all. What a Chef they have! We cannot say enough about the Odera Tinos and its staff... we will come back! Thank you for everything! Gary and Natalia

This is a beautiful property (in the bit of nowhere, yes, but undeveloped land which makes it special). Despite that, unless you feel like camping in 26 degree C weather (in August), it is NOT worth it. The air conditioning really doesn’t work at all — it is in essence colder outside (with the wind) than it is in this BALMY room. The hotel has a geothermal A/C which basically prevents it from cooling? Unfortunately, I cannot recommend coming here in the summer months if you value a nice nights sleep.
