The place is breathtaking and the staff are polite and helpful. Unfortunately if you’re vegan I don’t recommend you stay here. For the price there should be creative vegan options. Not just fruits and salad!

We spent one night as astopover in along road tryp. Place is very nice, hotel nicely decorated and preserved but alittle bit aged. Food in both restaurant and breakfast was fantastic an service extraordinary.

A beautiful, calm place to spend a few days. Excellent service and a very friendly team. Fantastic food and drink offerings. Breakfasts are particularly good, and included in the price of the room. Lodges on the lake are charming and very well maintained. We will be back!

This is an amazing property maintained by an exceptional crew! The rooms are spacious and exquisitely decorated, with the only issue being the lack of washing facilities in the toilet room; perhaps a combined toilet-bidet would be a solution. The breakfast offers a quality selection of both sweet and savory options. The friendly staff are happy to make hot drinks and eggs. The bar is second to none with several adjacent seating areas; we really liked the mezzanine (but make sure it is regularly dusted)! The outdoors are breathtaking! The management knows what they are doing!

I stayed at Brindos Lac & Chateau in October 2023 for a friend's wedding and was thoroughly impressed. The property is a hidden gem, offering privacy and breathtaking lake views. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with excellent room service. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. I left items in my room, and Olivier, the head concierge, went above and beyond by arranging FedEx shipping to the U.S. His swift action and care were greatly appreciated.

We spent a pleasant 5 days at Hotel Brindos Lac et Chateau, conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Biarritz rail station and airport. Situated by a small lake in a peaceful and charming area, this hotel offers a serene atmosphere. The hotel's lobby is spacious and warmly decorated, featuring a bar that serves enjoyable cocktails. They also have a pleasant terrace and a lakeside pontoon where you can relax while enjoying the scenic view. Dining options are available on the terrace or in a well-appointed dining room. The breakfast is abundant and varied, and the restaurant serves refined delicious meals. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and well-lit, making for comfortable accommodations. Opting for a room with a view of the lake is a great choice. The cleanliness in excellently well maintained. The hotel staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and I recommend it if you prefer quiet and elegant accommodations

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the setting right on the lake was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing which made it very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of our anniversary celebration. Pros - absolutely stunning setting on a picturesque lake. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous reception areas. Very friendly, efficient reception staff. Dinner was excellent & the ‘picnic basket’ of canapés was a lovely touch. Excellent service at dinner on the gorgeous terrace. Wonderful concierge staff. Great proximity to Biarritz Cons. We chose to stay in a floating lodge, it’s a great concept but because there was a heatwave at the time (obviously no fault of the hotel) it didn’t quite work for us. No shade on the decking of the lodge, this meant we couldn’t really enjoy sitting out , a parasol is definitely required. There was a portable a/c unit in the bedroom but the bathroom was stifling hot & we were pouring with sweat as soon as we’d showered. You have to call for the guys in the boats to collect you, this sometimes took up to 20 mins. We were informed at check in that soft drinks would be replenished each day. Returned from a scorchingly hot day in Biarritz to no drinks at all in the fridge. Tried to call reception numerous times but no answer. Eventually left a message & some drinks were sent a good time later. I found it perturbing that we couldn’t get through to reception & rather worrying should an emergency occur. Pool doesn’t open until 10. Sometimes there were towels, sometimes not. Same as a barman, sometimes there, sometimes not at all. Didn’t seem consistent, even tho hotel was apparently full. We were told breakfast was until 11. We decided to exercise in the morning due to the heat at have breakfast at around 10.40. Staff had everything whisked away by 11am sharp. It was unclear where to ask for eggs. One day we were offered them, the other 3 days not at all. Again inconsistent. Had to keep finding staff to ask for coffee/glasses/cutlery. Breakfast service far from the excellent service we received at dinner. The hotel is very close to the airport & train track so do expect some noise. All in all a good stay & we really enjoyed it but would have been much better had the inconsistencies noted above been addressed.
