The Hotel is located in the center of a little village, the house seems to be led in a traditionsal local way, kept clean and with a good standard - based on the local scope, The WLAN-feastures are not working in the rooms and the ambience could be brought on a more contemporarien standard in all categories

Nice *** Hotel, nice small room but really hard mattress (H4+) in our room, very clean, friendly staff, basic breakfast but with all you need and what we had was tasty - very good restaurant. Enough parking lots. They also offer you a place for EV charging if you need (two lots). Two terraces. Big Tip for the near area: Wine tasting in Gertwiller (7 km) at Zeyssolff winery (french or english tour) - best to book over getyourguide.com - 16 Euro per person - own produced film over the company projected on huge old barrels - GREAT experience - very nice staff there!!!

The hotel is very well located and decorated (public part and rooms). The breakfast is nice. We were though very disappointed by the mattress quality which is far below of what I expect from a 3 start hotel when I pay 112€ one night. The mattress was very old and should be replaced urgently. A mattress topper only helps to add comfort when the mattress is too firm, but not in this case. We woke up with back pain and hope that it was only in our room (225) and not in all rooms like this.

We stayed at Hotel Kastelberg for one night in a standard room and we had a very friendly greeting upon on our arrival. Our room overlooked the vineyards and it was exceptionally spotless in both the general bedroom area and particularly in the bathroom. It is a family owned and operated hotel and it was very obvious that they really love and care for this hotel. We also had dinner in the restaurant and we chose the fixed 39 euro menu. The food was very tasty and I can recommend that you include this as part of your stay at the hotel. My wife had the fish and I had the filet steak. The hotel is well situated in the small village and it is worth a walk through the village to see what was the Abbey precinct.

Best choice for stop-over on a hiking trail at the Jakobsweg or GR5 between St. Odile and Dambach. Nice rooms and a very good restaurant. - Don’t forget to walk to the Kastelberg and have a view over Andlau.

The hotel is close to the town, and it's therefore very easy to get to the center of the town or just take a walk around and admire the buildings and the vines. The rooms are adorable, clean and spacious, especially the one I got the chance to have with a front view and a balcony. The personnel at the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful and speak French, German and English, so it was easy to communicate even when one language failed me. Moreover, the whole staff seems to really enjoy their job and to be genuinely happy to make guests happy. The restaurant has delicious food, I did not try starters or salads, but I can vouch for each main course and the dessert. I can't recommend the Kastelberg enough.

Nous avions réservé la suite Kastelberg. Chambre très spacieuse, lit très grand et confortable. Une vue superbe sur les vignes. Accueil très chaleureux, un séjour reposant et ressourçant.

Malgré un tarif avantageux nous restons relativement déçus; la salle de bain écaillée les lampes au niveau des têtes de lits cassées un petit déjeuner où nous devions faire la queue avec des produits pas très frais notamment les charcuteries à la couleur non engageante. Le restaurant est correct mais la nourriture relativement grasse avec des produits de qualité moyenne...dommage.

Personnel sympathique, gentil et à l'écoute, chambre spacieuse et lit douillet. Bon emplacement et jolie vue, Bonne cuisine. Rien à redire Tout était parfait. Sauf que sur l'avis de tripadvisor il faut au moins 200 caractères alors que 75 suffisent
