We stayed with you for three days as guests from Les Amis. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The room was quite warm, and unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work very well, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. The service, however, was friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights for us was receiving the miso soup we had wished for that really made us happy, and we appreciate that very much. There was one staff member who seemed a bit off on the first day and again the next afternoon when serving drinks and during breakfast. The egg dishes were delayed, and she didn’t take the coffee order right away. But soon after, another service staff member came by and kindly asked us about our wishes and thanks to her, we received the soup. We are very grateful for that. Reception was excellent friendly, helpful, and always approachable. We definitely plan to return. I’d like to send my warmest regards to the kitchen team also Paul, Ramin, and Sophia. Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing helpful staff who kindly gave us a tour of the property and described the history. Comfortable, clean rooms and the food for breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We stayed two nights and it was great to stroll around the river and visit the historical sites. Would love to stay here again!

My family stayed here as a stop on our road trip. We had a little confusion on how to get to the hotel due to multiple road closures, even though the hotel sent us a map on the route. When we arrived we were met with a friendly receptionist who showed us around, unfortunately the hotel had suffered some water damage, so the restaurant on site was closed. We had no advance notice of this, but the bar was still open. That night we had dinner at the hotels sister restaurant, Trattoria Ai Perro, which the hotel helped us book and was delicious. The communal spaces were beautifully decorated with lots of modern art through out. The rooms were very nice and spacious, but when we went to bed we shortly found out that the air conditioning seemed to not be working, and the room was very hot making it hard to get to sleep and stay asleep; we also noticed some odd small bugs, that seemed like tics, but we later found out that it was a hump beetle so it was harmless but gave us a fright. The next morning, we had breakfast in the bar, which was absolutely spectacular. It was a traditional German breakfast, presented beautifully, and delicious, but there was a rather odd atmosphere throughout our stay, with the only guests other than us being two couples, whom we rarely saw. Upon departure the hotel supplied water and bread for the car journey which was a nice touch. Overall, my stay in Andernach was very good, with the only negatives being the water damage and the air conditioning, but I’m certain that these problems will be fixed.

We had an unexpectedly wonderful hotel and dining experience at Purs.The hotel is a contemporary design fitted into an ancient structure- and it is done withn such care and attention to detail. Every guest's needs are anticipated. And the hotel's restaurant is excellent and inventive. All of this does comes with a price but the overall expereince was memorable and worth it. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen mit Cocktail zur Begrüßung. Führung durch Haus und Küche. In ein sehr geschmackvolles großes Zimmer mit luxuriösem Bad. Lage völlig ruhig! In gutem Bett. Am Abend dann ein 6 Gänge Menu vom Feinsten. Peter Fridén ist ein Zauberer! Mit mehreren Grüßen aus der Küche erweitert, mit üppiger und wohl abgestimmter Weinbegleitung. Die Crew sind alle sehr sehr freundlich. Es war ein wahres Fest. Das Frühstück ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Wir sind selig abgereist!

Mitten in der Stadt nicht weit von den Bahngleisen entfernt, liegt dieses Hotel. Wer die falsche Seite der Zimmer bekommt, hat mit den fahrenden Zügen zu kämpfen. Diese Fahren oft und sehr früh. Die Parksituation ist lt. Personal nicht geklärt. Es kann ein Parkplatz reserviert werden, wenn allerdings Andere in die Garage fahren ( da kann das Personal nichts tun) hat man Pech gehabt und muss doch irgendwo in der Stadt parken. Das Frühstück ist gut. Wer früh kommt, hat aber nicht immer die Auswahl, da Eier oder Bacon öfter etwas später fertig sind. Auch bei der Beschreibung der Konfitüre ist Vorsicht geboten. Oft wird die Orangen mit der Aprikosen verwechselt. Vorsicht Allergiker!!!!Gefährlich!!!! Wo das „Luxury“ im Namen herkommen soll, ist mir nicht ersichtlich. Aber Namen sind frei zu vergeben. Gäste werden zu 100% nach dessen AGB‘s behandelt. Wenn es nach mir geht: hier nicht mehr übernachten. Und ich übernachte ca. 100 Nächte im Jahr in verschiedenen Hotels Weltweit.
