조던 리버 호텔(Jordan River Hotel)

地理位置和房間都不錯，服務也相當可以，英語溝通方便。

암만을 방문하기에 완벽한 호텔입니다. 모든 것을 갖추고 있습니다. 좋은 가격, 완벽한 위치, 매우 넓고 깨끗한 객실, 수건이 있는 깨끗하고 넓은 욕실, 조용하고 히트 펌프가 있는 에어컨.... 차로 오시는 경우 문 앞에 주차할 수 있습니다. 완벽한 와이파이. 직원들은 매우 친절하고 세심하며 하루 중 언제든지 마실 수 있는 커피와 주전자가 있습니다.

호텔은 암만 시내 근처의 매우 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 나는 호텔의 재산에 실망했다. 우리는 2개의 다른 방(2개의 다른 예약)에서 2박을 머물렀고 시트는 교체되지 않았으며 욕실도 깨끗하지 않았습니다. 내가 주인에게 적당한 시트를 줄 수 있는지 아주 친절하게 물었을 때 그녀는 나쁜 반응을 보이며 시트를 교체했다고 말했습니다. 나는 그녀에게 베개의 머리카락을 보여줬고 그 순간에만 그녀는 다른 방에서 가져온 다른 베개를 나에게주었습니다. 나는 그들을 나쁘게 말하고 싶지 않지만 다른 사람들이 사용하는 시트에서 잠을 잘 수 없었고 (호텔이 비싸지 않았음에도 불구하고) 주인의 반응을 보였습니다.

The place was dirty. The double bed which I had ordered was 2 single mattresses on 2 wooden box frames. Disappointing.

So bad , nothing in the room , no shampoo no Tissue paper ، There is not even a TV, nor a good bathroom for taking a shower, the water is weak, the reception is bad and everything is forbidden, there is no water heater for making coffee, yet its prices are very high, and the big hotels compete in price

Apart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a "pretty good" breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the "excellent manager" of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at "reasonable prices" in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the "3 desert castles" to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the "best part" of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's "number-one site" which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

I made a booking at this place for a mix dormitory, but when I arrived the lady working there told me that I’m not allowed to stay there just because I spoke Arabic to her. She told me that Arab nationalities are not allowed to stay there even though I told her that I live my whole life in Europe and I even don’t hold an Arab nationality. So I could basically just spoken English to her and she would have let me in. Please be careful before you book with them, because they will disappoint you and so you will have to find an alternative last minute like I did.

I’ve booked 2 nights there, and literally they told me , Arabic are not welcome there .. the receptionist was the rudest person I’ve ever meet in my life I’ve been traveling and staying in hostels for more than 15 years , never heard that some worker would say why would you stay here it’s a place for poor people :) , beside she was like you could stay here but you should pay the double because you booked online :) , so I went one floor under and I found a hotel called Nobel hotel the price was 3 more JOD but with a privet double bed , a privet bathroom , and includes big breakfast with many different plates beside they speak good English and always smile , actually they know what they are doing in Nobel hotel .
