Little paradise on earth. We couldn’t define it in other way! Of course, accordingly to our taste. We escaped so far not to look for Italian cooking but for a white and exotic sandy beach as shown on pictures. And our high expectations were far surpassed by the truth! We found that food and service, entirely provided by locals mostly according to malgasy style, were simply perfect in that place. Furthermore we were glad to know that Constance (the multinational property) helps somehow locals, not only providing jobs but even supporting basic services. It doesn’t change the world but ….

Honestly the most incredible, untouched and most beautiful place you could ever imagine to go. The hotel, the excursions, the guests and the staff were the most welcoming, most warm and most vibrant one could ever ask for! The extra trips they offer are spectacular and definitely worth doing. The food and the room was super. The views and the ocean are something you see only in movies, but experiencing it in real life is even better. A huge thank you to Elena and her whole team! They are FANTASTIC! I will certainly be back many times again in the future as I'm sure anyone who stays there will agree.

My goodness, this place is paradise, totally unique. The reason is that it feels like home. As soon as you arrive to a special welcome on the beach Elenor the manager said to me “your our family now” and that totally sums it up. We became part of their whole family. A place that is total luxury yet you are not sitting on ceremony at all. Staff mix with you, they know your name and they have fun with you too! Eric and Edmond in the restaurant work so damn hard along with all the restaurant staff, the food is to die for too! We met beautiful Faneva on the boat ride over and she showed how much she loves working on the island, she became a special part of our trip, always smiling with us The hotel is ran by Lucas and Elenor and they do such a perfect job, it can’t be easy managing 80 men and 11 women! What we loved the most is that the staff spent time with us in the evening at pre dinner drinks and at Christmas we all partied and ate together, just like family The island is idlic, the bungalows are amazing inside, full air conditioning after the heat of the sun. We stayed in bungalow 7 on the south shore, amazing views and a few steps and you are in the sea, just simply perfect Nothing was too much trouble, they care for you just as you would your own family. They even have a resident nurse! Please please don’t ever change the concept, we have travelled far and wide and have never experienced this, we very rarely go back to the same location twice but we are already planning our return for this December, if you stay three times your name is embedded into the bar, that we are aiming for If you are hesitant about booking, stop and book now, your life will be enriched for doing so! Thank you Constance Tsarabanjina you will forever be in our hearts

I really wanted to give this place more than two stars. The review is not a reflection on the staff (especially Onisoa and Eric) who were AMAZING and went WAY above and beyond to make our trip special. The accommodations were lovely and the food WOULD HAVE been great if not every meal hadn’t been ruined by the nauseating cigarette smoke that wafted up from the lounge DIRECTLY BELOW the dining area…right up to our very last evening where the smoke was so thick we had to get our dessert take away and eat it in our room. Truly shocking that for the hefty price tag of this place one cannot enjoy their meal without the revolting smell of cigarettes. Shame on Constance for endangering the health and wellbeing of their staff by allowing them to be exposed to secondhand smoke for the duration of their workday. Had I known this before booking I’d have gone somewhere else. I will not be returning to another Constance resort until they wake up and smell the lung cancer.

Tsarabanjina deliveres everything you want from a tropical paradise. Breathtaking crystal water, barefoot life, great snorkeling / diving and amazing sunsets that will leave you breathless. However the most appreciated uniqueness of the stay here is the atmosphere created from all the staff. Feels like leaving a family you never realized you had when the boat goes from the shore and the staff are all weaving to you from the beach. Truly a warm intimate feeling yet so rich in secludedness and private island atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed at Constance Tsarabanjina for 4 nights in August 2024. For us, the property was magical, immaculately attended to, and incredibly situated. Above all, there is a feeling of community and the property managers and staff go out of their way to remember you and make you feel special. It's one of the best ocean retreats I've ever been to and although we tend not to repeat vacations, always looking for new experiences, I would love to return.

This was our second trip to Tsarabanjina and it was just as amazing as last year. Not the easiest place to get to from the UK but so worthwhile. Great reception on the beach when you arrive on the boat and you are soon in your villa on the beach where your luggage is waiting for you. Only 25 villas on two beaches so the place is lovely and quiet. Beaches with fantastic sand, swimming, snorkelling, sailboards, kayaks and of course your own loungers for just soaking up the rays. The villas are kept spotless as is the beach and the gardens on the island. You can go diving, trips to local islands, fishing, do as much or as little as you want. For such a small place the restaurant serves great food and you eat what you catch! But what really makes this place is the staff. Hard to mention them all and to those I have forgotten I apologise. Edmond and Eric in the restaurant, Mao and Tombo in the bar, Jacob running the excursions, Manjary the fishing. A very special mention to the two fantastic ladies who have looked after us so well in the last two years, Faneva and Zoulekah. The team are led by Lucas and Elena who are all about making sure that the guests have a good time and their needs and expectations are met. A good holiday always has to end but you get a great send off from the beach as you leave. Sad to leave but the saying is come as a guest and leave as family and we certainly felt that we had done that. Plans are already under way for another trip next year.

Another Constance Jem where do I start, if you want Robinson Crusoe, this is the Place. The property is idilic, so small, only 24 rooms, so never crowded and plenty of space between, you also get your own loungers on the beach. The walk along either North or South beach is simply lovely. The staff, that is what makes it, Lucas and Elena have installed a feeling of community, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you are having a wonderful stay. As all inclusive, there is free flow of cocktails, bubbles, wine, beers, and some good wines too. Buffet breakfast and Lunch, top notch food, not a lavish affair like you would get in Dubai, but you are on a small island in the middle of nowhere, it all adds to the charm. if you like that, stick to Dubai. Diner is alacarte, with multiple choices. The staff like you to meet before and they all join in and even have a drink, which is really nice as you can see they are relaxing and having some fund too. It is quite a trek from the UK, we went via Ethiopia, and it really was not that bad and would recommend Ethiopian airlines.but it is well worth it. A really different vibe when there are so few rooms. Would 100% recommend and will 100% return.
