I didn't make it, hotel doesn't have 24hrs front desk

I recommend not to choose this place. If it is a Holiday trip, then this stay will ruin your fun and bring more stress. I started my Chris**as trip from Switzerland and then to Rome and Amalfi is my final destination. All went well until the day I was about to reach Amalfi. The hotel management messafed me the morning and mentioned the check-in time will close at 6:30 which I am aware. I took a train from Rome to Salerno and then a bus with the schedule to reach hy 4:45. However, the train got delayed and oushed my check-in slighly delayed. I requested for 15 min flexibility in check-in but they refused to do so and cancelled my booking by mentioning no show. I end up homeless in a foreign country with language barrier. Luckily I found a nice place but lost 2 days hotel fair. This holiday trip is to have fun and not to creat additional stress. Fun will be there when surrounded with a friendly and supportive environment. This place and especially the working staffs gives stressful environment. I recomment to avoid at any cost.

I travelled Switzerland and Italy for Chris**as break with my family. This is my final destination before finishing my trip. Had a pleasent journey until I got a message from this hotel member. I booked the train and bus from Rome (12:26pm) to reach the hotel by 4:45pm but unfortunately the train from Rome got delayed which pushed my check-in time slightly (I requested slight flexibilityin check-in, just for 15 min) but they mentioned it will be considered as no show. They suggested me to take a taxi from salerno which will cost around 100€ to reach the hotel on time. I realised, it would be good to rent a car for the trip and it has been mentioned in their booking that they do have on-site parking includes off street option. After renting and mentioned about my arrival, they said per day parking will be 30€ extra. Eventually, I was not able to make it on time and ended up no place to stay with my family. They cancelled my entier two days booking mentioning no show. At last I booked different hotel and lost the entier amount paid for this just because of 15 min delay. I agree in maintaining the timing but slight flexibility would be good. Especially when it is not that hard to make small flexibility. They don't care about anything other than money. Lot of beautiful hotels are around so always good to choose wisely. Place might be good but people are behind money and for some reason if you are delayed then you might lose 50 to 200€. Be careful and stay away with this place.

We paid in cash and were refused a receipt. The next day (once we had checked out) we were charged again the full night to our credit card!!!! Biggest scammers!! So disappointed!! We are trying to dispute this and we are being called liars. This ruined our trip on the Amalfi. The woman at reception tried to charge us an extra six euro for city tax which was not informed of in advance. We didn’t have any clean sheets and she couldn’t care less that in the middle of the night we had to find our way down to the lobby to use dirty douvets that were left out for laundry because it was the middle of the night in winter and the hotel had not supplied our room with bedding. Nothing at all!!! There was no reception or anyone to help. We literally slept in someone else’s old laundry found in the corridor to keep warm in winter. The room was terrible with not heater and lights didn’t switch on. The room was so small in an attic was hard to stand without hitting head. We were scammed. Stay away!!!

Be advised that you can hear everything from the lobby and even other rooms from within the room, so it's not very private. The breakfast is served to you outside on the roof deck, so not sure what happens when the weather is bad. We were also surprised to learn parking cost 20 euros per night when's retrieving our car at the end of our stay. It was ok for two nights but I would not stay here again.

Amalfi is beautiful. There must be many lovely hotels. Be careful about this one. We were put in a room up under the eaves of the roof. (There are two in the hotel, be aware.) The room is quite large but two-thirds cannot be used. In most of the rooms if you stand upright you will hit your head. And in almost the entire room there is a risk of hitting your head on one of the many many rafters. The bathroom is entirely unsafe. The risk of hitting your head is very great. We suspect that the room violates any reasonably building code. If it is not illegal, at the very least, it is not safe. Avoid this hotel.

Breakfast excellent on the beautiful terrace Receptionist was very helpful
