This place is perfect. It feels so premium. A lot of small details which make your stay unforgettable. Breakfast is great. Location right in center of the old town. Just 2 min walk to see the main church on the hill. Very charming stay. Thank you!!! Definitely going to stay there again.

Very happy with the accommodation, clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay again. Location in the old town is both close to the seafront( 3minute) walk and close to the many restaurants in the old town. One thing to be aware of is access on foot to many of the old towns restaurants are via steep stairways ,this could be an issue if you have mobility issues. The hostel has it's own restaurant which sadly for us was closed during our stay due to a kitchen refit, however the menu looked well worth trying. One small negative point we both felt the breakfast had rather small portions and we were give a tiny third of a small glass of orange juice...they could do better. Finally both the owners and other staff were both friendly and helpful. Overall both my wife and I recommend this hostal.

This is a really good place to base yourself when visiting Altea as the location is very central Our room was comfortable, well furnished and had everything required to make our stay relaxing-fridge, toiletries, coffee machine, robes, beach towels Our room came with a large outside space with sea views Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and high quality ingredients The Dutch owners are super friendly Highly recommend and thanks for a great stay

We stayed for just one night in February. The hotel was very clean, new and renovated to a very high specification. Sadler the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed, which was a shame because it gets good reviews. The reason for 4 stars is because we were not given or offered breakfast and there was only 2 coffee capsules in the room, no milk or water. In summing up, breakfast should have been included for the price I paid, so a little disappointed.

**Een onvergetelijke ervaring bij La Costera Wijnhostel in Altea** Vanaf het moment dat ik voor het eerst binnenstapte bij **La Costera Wijnhostel**, wist ik dat dit een bijzondere plek was. De persoonlijke aandacht die je hier krijgt, is werkelijk ongeëvenaard. Van de eigenaar tot de kok en zelfs de lieve ontbijtdame: iedereen draagt bij aan een verblijf dat voelt als thuiskomen, maar dan met een vleugje luxe. Ik heb door de jaren heen geslapen in hotels als **Meliá**, **The Ritz-Carlton**, en **Four Seasons**, en hoewel die absoluut indrukwekkend zijn, biedt La Costera iets wat je daar niet vindt: pure, oprechte gastvrijheid. Hier draait het niet alleen om luxe, maar om een ervaring die blijft hangen. Zelfs toen ik onverwacht vroeg moest vertrekken, nog voordat het ontbijt klaar zou zijn, wist het team een fantastisch ontbijt pakket voor me samen te stellen – volledig last-minute. Dat is service van het hoogste niveau! En dan de keuken... Tijdens mijn eerste verblijf was ik al enorm onder de indruk. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd, met smaken die doen verlangen naar meer. Ik kijk er nu al naar uit om in december terug te keren, deze keer voor drie dagen, om opnieuw te genieten van wat zij te bieden hebben. La Costera Wijnhostel biedt een ervaring die zelfs de persoonlijke touch van ketens als **Aman Resorts** en **St. Regis** overstijgt. Het is een verborgen parel waar je niet alleen overnacht, maar herinneringen creëert. Altea mag zich gelukkig prijzen met zo’n uniek adres. Ik raad het iedereen aan – dit is een ervaring die je niet mag missen! Tot snel, La Costera!

Excellent dans tous les aspects. Digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles alors que c'est un auberge. Plein de beaux détails comme un sac pour la plage avec 2 serviettes intégrés, possibilité de demander un prêt se parasol et des chaises pour la plage, magnifique cuisine et très belle décoration. Village très charmant.
