Great location to view the northern lights as long as there are clear skies! Services are not the best as they don’t really have restaurant that you can just step in to eat. A rental car will be great to move from places to places to eat and explore.

We loved everything about our stay! Staying at Flatmoen was the best part of our 9 day trip. We were only there for a night but thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views, cozy cabin, luxurious hot tub (did I mention with a stunning view) and, the best part, getting to ride the fabulous Fjords on a night ride to seek northern lights. Johnny was an incredible host who made us feel right at home and like we made an instant friend. If you have the opportunity don't hesitate, stay here and make sure it's more than one night!

Flatmoen Natural is a wonderful place to visit but an absolute treasure of a place to stay. Our cabin was cosy, modern and well equipped with incredible views in all directions (including skywards!). Having our own hot hub was an amazing way to unwind after our daily adventures in the surrounding area. For added relaxation we used the brand new sauna (you book a 2-hour block for private use) which is an undiscovered gem with its own panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Johnny delivered a delicious home-cooked breakfast to our cabin every morning which we enjoyed while taking in the spectacular scenery. Some people may prefer an on-site restaurant but this was a daily delight before starting our day. On our last evening we joined the Northern Lights sleigh tour experience from the farm. We were guided on a memorable trip by Leo who was very knowledgable about the farm, the horses and the local area and people. We were not lucky enough to see the Lights on our trip but had an amazing time nonetheless, sharing stories around the fire while Leo cooked us a delicious meal in the open air. Would thoroughly recommend Flatmoen Natur as a destination that combines a touch of luxury with the beauty and tranquility of Finnmark and the warmest of welcomes from Johnny and Levi.

This place is superb. Stunning new cabins with jacuzzi. Views to the sun set and overlooking to the horse fields. Beautifull farm ranch just minutes away from the alta city. Western style feeling. Next time need to try their horse safaris.😁 Try it and love it.

Alta was by far one of our best experiences ever all made because of the wonderful Levi and Jonny at Flatmoen. From the lodges to the sleigh ride and dinner around the camp fire with the most wonderful food and horse riding the next day. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough and look forward to returning. The lodges where beautiful inside and out. Warm and cosy, with the most amazing hot tub and views. Breakfast was the best I had ever. Look forward to returning.

La struttura è’ posizionata all’interno di un centro equestre e l’amore che ho per i cavalli è un punto a suo favore. Detto questo il posto è perfetto, dotato di ogni confort e la Jacuzzi calda esterna è un valore aggiunto che ha fatto di una serata fredda e piovosa una serata stupenda. Da tornarci, subito.
