라마다 알레페이(Ramada by Wyndham Alleppey)

Waste of Money, Time, Experience. One cannot have a worst experience than this. RAMADA has its own standards but this property we felt as if it's an adopted child. To begin with - Common washrooms behind the reception is so dirty that it cannot be used, flushes was not functional too. Washrooms cum Changing rooms near swimming pool were so dirty that we had to come back to our rooms to change our clothes back after swimming. Swimming pool is not at all maintained, the tiles are broken which are bound to hurt your feet very often. Washrooms of the room are so old and badly ***aged that in 2 days we had to call the plumber thrice for each room. Rooms have no feel of hotel of a standard hotel - RAMADA. In the entire corridors and lift there is not air conditioning inspite of the fact that KERALA is so hot in temperature corridors outside room and elevators are a challenge to stand for 5 minutes. While checking out we asked the restaurant ***ager to get us 5 Aloo Parathas packed for our way. I wish I had the photographs, it looked like a heap of flour hold cooked, 1 paratha was equal to 5 parathas in thickness, we had to donate all on the way to monkeys. Very shameful. Not even basic things can be provided correctly due to which we had to suffer on the way. It is much better to stay in less costly property to at least get basic necessities - CLEANLINESS, GOOD FOOD, AIR CONDITION, A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE. The top ***agement looking after this property should have a deep check. I was on a 10 day tour with my family - 3 night Munnar, 2 nights Allepey 4 night Kovalam. Munnar - The panoramic Getaway Kovalam - The Taj, & LEELA Only Stay in Allepey we dont want to remember or recommend to anyone is of RAMADA ALLEPEY

Very good hospitality neet and clean Room ,thanks to all staff specialy Shibin from Housekeeping, view from the room is amazing , very good hotel in Alleppey for stay , room amenities are good ,linens are cleaned staffs are well trained ,and will recommend.

Very spacious rooms. I enjoyed the best massage ever with the therapist called Reena (sorry if I have misspelled the name. She is such an excellent therapist. I chose to do massages on two consecutive days to enjoy her wonderful treatment. Will definitely return to Ramada Alleppey to a major extent because of the lovely massage.

The Ramada is the only 4 Star + option in Allepey. Hotel staff are helpful, though they look grim-they can smile more! The entire room, bathroom and ***y parts of the hotel is inclined. We first thought something was wrong with us! This was a strange feeling indeed. Looks like a construction defect. We were unhappy that they hadnt switched on the A/C before we checked in. The room was therefore hot for a long time.But they provided us with a pedestal fan thereafter. Buffet breakfast was decent. They had a strange rule that only one door key can be given(we were 3 of us in the room). Overall the staff come across as sincere, but not well trained.

The place is a little older than the pro pictures show - nothing too unexpected for an older property. Our room was ok. Bed had a cheaper mattress than usual, but the pillows were nice. The sheets passed the test of not smelling like they had been stored near the kitchen. The TV had a bunch of channels but with reduced sections of satellite stations due to not having the better package. Discovery and Nat Geo worked, as did BBC world news. The pool is nice compared to the overall building. The hotel lost power a few times; once when in the lift. It was only for 30s. WiFi works well but fails sometimes. Food in the Chinese bar restaurant was very nice with very large portions. Beers expensive. Breakfast a pretty standard mix but with a very nice omelette.

I stayed here on March 17 /2024 Ramada looks great, nice property with pool. It was too hot and muggy inside the hotel we were sweating while having dinner. The air conditioner turns off as one leaves the room and upon return the room gets too hot 🥵 The food was delicious and reasonable rates property is a little dated The house boats are good and easy access

We booked this hotel with trepidation due to mixed reviews. But we wanted the location as it backed on to the backwaters, and it was the best option. The hotel is what you might expect from the Ramada, in terms of it's standards. There was plenty of variety of Indian food at breakfast, but very little western options,which was disappointing. Separately, twice we were told staff would come to our room to sort out internet issues, but no-one arrived... The pool was a great size for laps, clean, with plenty of towels and sun loungers.

poor room - splintered dated furniture which should be on the scrap heap - dirty room - poor maintenance is reflected - no hot water ( lukewarm at best ) - you are made to feel like a criminal by signing off the contents of a mini bar ( all it had were some cold non alcoholic drinks and a couple of pckts of cookies ) - staff appeared overworked but courteous. breakfast bar was nothing to write home about - no fresh coffee ( even when i asked for one ) food appeared stale - the live station was good though making fresh omelettes overall a pretty average hotel .

This is a great hotel in allepey just next to the lake where all the houseboats start. The staff is very polite and always have a smile on their face, we also got an upgrade to premium lake view room. The room is specious and cozy. The breakfast buffet and food was very nice, overall a relaxing experience.
