We stayed here for one night pre-flight out of Albuquerque. Upon arriving in the lobby I wasn't sure if I was at a hotel or elderly care home. There are definitely many older folks living at this hotel. And we saw them everytime we came in and out of the hotel, just hanging around the lobby area. It was odd. Our room was on the 4th floor and we were told it was recently renovated. Our room was fine, and did have the feel of new, however, it's more of a new but shotty craftsmanship with poorly installed everything from flooring to baseboards to cabinetry. The sofa bed was definitely brand new and we were the first to use it as we had to take the huge store branded plastic covering off the mattress. It's a quick 5 minute drive to the airport from this hotel and they have free shuttle service...which turned out to be the hotel calling us an Uber which they paid for in the morning when we left around 6am.

Pillows that are rocks make all the other good and bad of this hotel irrelevant. Highway and airport hotels are bad enough- but no sleep because of cheap material is grounds for never again. Checkin process was through a checked out front desk that was busy on a phone call with a friend. Room was plenty large with cheap furniture that was already looking worn.

This is not a good location if you are going to need to use the shuttle to the airport. Upon arrival, there were no shuttles running at 7p, and I had to push for an Uber reimbursement which the hotel honored. I had a 4:30a shuttle reservation back to the airport, which I had to chase the front desk all morning for and left 20 minutes late

Don’t be fooled by the look of the outside of the hotel. It looks new but the rooms I saw were run down. We were moved from the 1st one because the a/c wasn’t working and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. They were nice enough to “upgrade” us to a 2 bedroom (which we should have received due to hotel status). The entry way to one of the bedrooms has duct tape to cover the gap in the carpet. The TV guide shows channels that won’t tune in (I.e. Nickelodeon). The furniture looks like it’s out of an old dumpy motel. Both rooms are just creepy. Not worth the $200.

Very friendly staff, quiet, Dalton the assistant general manager was especially accommodating and welcoming to the area. Solid experience all around. Close to the airport, very clean, safe area and clear that the staff takes pride in the overall experience.

As this is an airport, I only had very modest expectations, but those expectations were certainly exceeded. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous at both check in and out. There is a small fridge stocked with complimentary bottle water at the lobby. Complimentary cookies are also available. The shuttle driver was also friendly, and the shuttle arrived for airport pickup shortly after I called the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and functional (the only thing slightly odd was the spot-light style lighting around the work desk- but it's just a very minor thing). There is a small fitness center right by the lobby - the machines are in good condition. Like all other Townplace properties, it offers complimentary breakfast; and I thought the quality of the breakfast was above-average. The lobby area feels bright and clean. Overall, this property offers excellent value and convenience.
