A-frame was a nice treat to long day of travel. Quiet and scenic overlook on deck. Clean and setup nice. Futon was not to comfortable for seniors but probably for kids Ok.

The owners and staff are awesome. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, and the property is amazing. This was our 4th stay and we’ve already booked our return. The property has hiking/walking trials, but is also close to some in the local area, as well as wineries, breweries and some good restaurants.

We had a wonderful family get together over to welcome in the New Year. The accommodations were perfect and the natural scenery spectacular. Highly recommend this location! The management team was friendly and welcoming!

We had a wonderful time. From the moment we set foot on the porch we just relaxed. the view of the lake from our cabin was spectacular. We felt like we were living in a tree house. Cabin was extremely clean and well supplied. We stayed in Magnolia. We wandered the paths, explored the area and left planning our next stay. Very pet friendly.

Montfair Farms was a great setting for my Daughters Wedding. Having the cabins available for us was nice. The pasture/field where the Wedding occured, with the mountains in the background, was beautiful, and the Lodge area for the reception and dancing was set up very nice. All of those that own/work at Montfair were so nice and helpful. The entire time was wonderful. Thank You Bob Roznowski

We traveled to Crozet in order to attend a "Celebration of Life" for a good friend who had recently passed. There were two couples in our party, and we stayed in the Sassafrass cottage that has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds. We were fortunate to have good weather, though in the 90s during the day, but the room air conditioner was adequate to keep us all comfortable. We were very happy with our choice to stay here as opposed to a hotel room. Montfair is a beautiful, peaceful place, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying a little music, sharing good bourbon , telling stories and bonding with friends. Morning coffee on the porch was exquisite. And all of us had the best sleep during those two nights that we could remember. As our friend was widely known to say, "Life is Good!"

I enjoyed everything about Montfair Resort Farm. It was peaceful, easy to get to and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I stayed at the Beauchamp House. Wonderful accommodations. My friend and I didn't need anything. Montfair made sure it was there! The view was beautiful. You could see the mountains and take wonderful pictures. I would stay here again. Thank you, Joe, for taking the time to tell me about different places to visit in the area. I really felt welcome here.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The included use of canoes for the lake and mountain bikes for the trails was hard to beat! The mountain bike trails were great and there were plenty of other "normal" areas to ride bikes also. I have invited friends and family for our return trip! I highly recommend if you desire a peaceful trip nestled in the Blue Ridge. Also close to Monticello, Walton's Mountain, numerous wineries, Skyline Drive, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location cannot be beat!
