The staff was excellent and treated us very kindly. Our shuttle driver, Rafael took us to the airport. He was one of the most fun people we met on our trip. I would recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.

We had a great time everyone was nice to us ..We enjoyed our stay ,there’s not much to do without a car,it’s best to book a tour when you arrive and they’ll pick you up from the hotel, but CITY MALL Alajuela was 5min walk and there’s lots of restaurants with good food at the food court .we spent our evenings there

The stay was a quick overnight stay before heading south to our destination.
The hotel itself was perfect and the breakfast was good value for $20.
Access was very difficult as we arrived at night and the road to the hotel is under major construction. There were no signs to guide us in and we drove in circles for a while. Waze or maps was not accurate or reliable.
There is also construction on the roof of the adjacent mall which was loud in the morning.

This is a great hotel with outstanding staff who always took the time to answer our questions. Beautiful new hotel, very convenient to the airport. One of its best assets is its buffet breakfast which was an unbelievable spread. Wide assortment of tropical fruits, many traditional Costa Rican dishes, over 15 different pastries, truly amazing. Perfect way to start your trip to Costa Rica!
