What a beautiful place to stay….so perfectly situated. A pleasant walk from the ferry points, both private and public ,to a quiet oasis with the most stunning views across the Nile from rooms and terraces. Clean comfortable family business where nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of tour information available and we recommend the sunrise balloon trip 100%. We stayed almost a week and it was like home we were able to do all Luxor has to offer in a leisurely way.

I have travelled more than 25 countries and I have to say that Ahmet was one of the best hosts! Always very helpful and attentive from early in the morning till late in the evening! We arrived early in the morning 2:30am and he was waiting for us! He recommended the safest places to go and he organized every single tour for us. We will also want to thanks Ali his cousin and the rest of the team! The luxor guest house is a really cozy and familiar place to stay. All the boys working there are a delight, friendly as well as helpful. It has a beautiful terrace where you have youre breakfast and even dinner if you want to dine there; beautiful view to the Nile and all the life going on by the shoreside. there is even a pool table for those fans of the game as well as a pool in the entrance for summer time :) The room was nice, comfortable and had different fun lighting options. really nice experience for our three day trip over to luxor

To be honest it was really cheap so I didn't expect too much, and I booked it through AirBNB to... This only applies to the apartment I had inside on the ground floor next to the office... The decorations were fair enough but it could have done with a bit more furniture, a bedside table would have been nice, and maybe a small fridge as well?? It was very cold at night s while I was staying there so I needed an extra fleecy blanket which was there for the asking. I did ask about the ''kitchen'' before I arrived but was a bit surprised to find it was only a marble bench with a sink!! I went out and bought my own kettle, no doubt it will come in handy at some time in the future. Very convenient for the ferry and all the local entertainment Staff very friendly although none too efficient when it comes to cleaning the room, as is normal you ask when you want it cleaned and change of linen, but you shouldn't have to ask four days in a row. There is a washing machine out in the garden which is handy... The bed was surprisingly comfortable considering the alarming noises that came from the springs! They really need to do something about the daily smell of sewage that pervades the ground floor... The WiFi is always there but whether there is actually an internet connection t the other end of it is another matter.... A bit annoying when you are trying to do an online study course... Breakfast is served on the roof, it is a basic breakfast without any variation really so you wouldn't want it every day! Would I stay again?? Probably...

Obwohl ich nur eine Nacht im Luxor Guest House verbracht habe, war ich sofort begeistert. Das Haus ist eine ruhige Oase im sonst eher trubeligen Kairo. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett und durch die große Dachterasse kommt man auch einfach in Kontakt mit anderen Reisenden. Beim Abschied aus dem Guest House habe ich leider mein Armband vergessen. Achmet (der übrigens neben dem arabischen und englischen auch perfekt deutsch spricht) hat es organisiert, dass es seinen Weg bis zu mir ans Rote Meer gefunden hat. Burası Luxor da Nil nehrinin karşı yakasında bir otel.Otelin sahibi sevgili Nasser olsun,çalışan diğer elemanlar olsun harika insanlar.Her türlü sorununuzda hemen çözüm üretiyorlar ve çok ilgililer.Kahvaltı olsun,odalar olsun,her bakımdan yeterli ve güzel.Otel karşı kıyıda olmasına rağmen her 15 dakikada bir "public ferry" dedikleri tekneler karşılıklı gidip geliyor.Bu bakımdan karşı kıyıda konaklamak çok kolay ve güzel,ayrıca daha hesaplı,kesinlikle tereddüt etmeyin ve Luxor Guest House'da rezervasyon yapın.
