Light House Old City

I made a booking for a 1 night stay on *********** for 60 GEL. The hosts are super friendly. The rooms are newly done and clean. Location could not be better across from Rabati Castle. We used Go Trip to drop us off and Go Trip again to pick us up. For dinner, we arranged for some dishes to be prepared. Food is cooked to order. It was like getting a home cooked meal. Breakfast was included in our rate. When we arrived, Svetlana showed us 2 rooms and we picked the room upstairs with a view of Rabati Castle. I'm pretty sure it was an upgrade but she did not charge us extra. Rabati Castle is definitely worth the trip from Tbilisi. We spent 2 hours walking the grounds. The next day we made a visit to Vardzia Caves before being dropped off in Tbilisi. Highly recommend a stay here.

The most welcoming hosts I have ever encountered on all of my travels. We arrived late (last minute booking) with a friend who speaks Georgian (thankfully) the room was immaculate, we were offered glass of wine and cakes for free on arrival in the dining room downstairs. He didn't have many beers so let us go to the shop and bring our own. We decided to eat there , food was freshly made and delicious, the night turned into one big party atmosphere with all the other guests, the owner provided wine and cha cha and excellent music and entertainment, best night on holiday for a long while, highly recommend staying here 😀
