Great value, great room view and restaurant view. Free breakfast. Room was clean, but no air-conditioned, I guess all hotels here have none. Unfortunately the room I got is right in front above where their exhaust fan releases smoke so if I leave the room opened, the room will smell food. A lot of restaurants nearby, hotel is facing the railway, so you can get a railway view or mountain / lake view.

We stayed at Hotel Ferre Machu Picchu for one nights, as part of an organised trip through Exoticca. The stay met our expectations overall. The room was clean and well-organised. The bathroom was equally spotless and tidy. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a highlight—plentiful and delicious, offering a variety of options such as fruits, juices, cold cuts, bread, jam, butter, coffee, and milk. The hotel’s location in the center of Aguas Calientes made it a convenient base for exploring. We were welcomed with warmth and friendliness upon arrival, which added a nice touch to the experience. This was a good, basic hotel that offers reasonable value for money.

The tour company we used to guide us on an Incan trail trek, SAM Travel out of Cusco,.booked us into this hotel after a 6 day hike on the Salkantay and Incan trails. Our guide told us there were complaints about the noise, but our room was so loud as to be comical. There's a train station directly across the street and also a trolley line (?). The trains stop at 11 pm but they were doing some work with loud machines on the trolley line. When the workers took a break and the machine noise stopped, the large group of workers carried on in loud voices. The room was stuffy because there is no a/c, so there was a choice between tolerating the heat or opening the window, having more noise and mosquitoes get in the room. The staff was very nice, but I would advise against staying here if you're concerned about getting a good night's sleep.

Very nice people at the front desk. Location is convenient but bring earplugs. It is right next to the train and since the room was stuffy we wanted to open the window. Not possible if you want to sleep. It's right next to the train. If you're a very light sleeper you might want to avoid this hotel. Otherwise, bring earplugs.

Hotel is slightly out of town, but surrounded by good restaurants. Sadly, our room faced the train tracks, which were very loud.

No hot water in the showers. Disappointed after a long walk to Aguas Calientes. The fan outlet also had a short and would not stay. Room was clean and breakfast was food. I think you could find a better hotel for the same money. Close to the main road/train station.
