A holiday we will never forget . From the second we arrived the resort staff were exceptional. We were greeted the minute we arrived, the kids were given bags of toys and we were seated and given a welcome drink. The staff at all the restaurants were just amazing with the children, special shout out to Chara and Pantelis who always went out of their way to welcome us and were so kind to the children. Eleni and all of her wonderful team in the kids club were also fantastic. Our kids ran in every day and even the days we weren't pushed for them to go they begged to go. The gym has spectacular views and being outdoors meant a lovely breeze. The private beach was a big highlight for us with fantastic views of spinalonga. Visiting Plaka is a must if you visit here, just a few minutes in a taxi which the hotel arranges and is such a beautiful small fishing village. Our first time in Greece and we will 100% be back, the hospitality of the people living there is just unmatched anywhere else we have ever been as a family.

But it was Harry Balanakis, the resort’s service manager, who truly transformed our holiday into something magical. Harry is nothing short of a hospitality prodigy—his energy, kindness, and professionalism were awe-inspiring. In our time at the Domes, Harry wore many hats: concierge, bellman, activity guide, and above all, our friend. His connection with our family, especially our children, was something truly special. Harry is the kind of person who anticipates your needs before you’ve even had a chance to voice them. He remembered every detail and always delivered with a smile. He is, without question, an irreplaceable asset to the Domes and the entire Marriott brand. Other members of the team also left lasting impressions—Giorgis and Farie, who made every breakfast feel like a celebration, served with warmth and laughter. Their attentiveness and charm made each morning feel like we were dining with old friends. The word is philoxenia (φιλοξενία), often translated as "hospitality," but it means much more. Large resort hotel for couples and families, set in a beautiful location between Elounda and Plaka, overlooked by the fortress island of Spinalonga. There is a spa, great selection of restaurants, choice of pools and chauffeured golf carts to move around the resort. There are various room choices, the pool villas being superb with an array of personal facilities including a washing machine. There is a private beach with a bar and food. Water sports, water taxis and excursions are available. A stand out feature here is the excellent level of service by all the staff in all areas, particularly the Blend restaurant and pool.

I am a global traveler being fortunate to have stayed in many amazing resorts. This place is amazing! All the details are considered. If you’re debating on coming here, just come and enjoy you won’t regret it. Beach, food, pool, service, service, facilities all best-in-class!

We were blown away by our first visit to the Domes of Elounda! Gorgeous property with breathtaking views and lots of amenities and small touches to elevate the experience for families with young kids. The Kids Club is amazing and staffed by exceptional women (Eleni, Connie and Debbie)! The concierge team were also very helpful with volunteering information and suggestions (esp Harry, Rena and Marina). We dined at the Makris and it was a very memorable experience! We enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting and cocktail sessions offered at the hotel. Plaka village nearby is a must-visit for seafood! Overall, a lovely week away and can highly recommend!
