King's & Queen's Afitos - Suites with Private Pool

The most uniquely, beautiful, boutique hotel we've ever had the pleasure to stay in. From the booking experience, to checkout, & everything in between, was absolute perfection. (Rooms, food, staff), Perfection!. The Manager/Owner was so accommodating, he even offered us a lift to our next destination. We were so blown away by the overall experience & hospitality shown that we have already looked into booking again. (Hopefully before the end of Season).

Well, there is nowhere else to be if you want to feel the charming greek atmosphere. We stayed 1 week there, we will remember of everything in the best possible way. Staff 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Food 5/5 Attention to details 9/5 Just go for it.

Overall good The room is new,nice and spacious. The pool was slightly cold for our likes during day and night. And you can spot some insects in the pool. Maybe something can be done to avoid this. The breakfast was really tasty. The location is ideal,close to the village.

This is a cute, small boutique hotel, set in a gorgeous resort, however, the bad outweighs the good for us because: (1) we booked a room at no small expense with what was supposed to be a "private pool". - it is not private at all, it just has some wicker partial partitions across the shared pool. There is no privacy whatsoever. Had we have known, we would not have booked because quite and privacy was exactly what we were looking for, exactly what we had been promised, and was non-existent. There are many other nicer places to stay at a fraction of the cost when the big deal is "private pool". The pool is also freezing. Whilst the room is funky and beutifully decorated, we paid an extra circa £100 per night to have the pool, and it's pointless/useless. Privacy is minimal and the neighbouring rooms on all sides are fully audible to all other rooms. Not really a "honeymoon" feel. Then the other cut corners just feel like a deep disappointment for a premium priced property. There is (2) no safe (3) no tea or coffee making facilities (4) breakfast is a limited menu and having to choose between either egg or yoghurt is a bit Clacton 1950's. (5) view partially obscured by car park infront. (6) not much space for clothes and no desk/dressing table for digital nomads. (7) the prices of coffee (cos you only get one cup of coffee for breakfast) is 4 - 7 Euro depending on the coffee - that's about 400% increase on the price of a coffee in Greece. On the upside, staff are charming and Afytos is a very nice place. The poolside playlist is also cool vibe and a nice touch. Really quite dissapointed as this was held out as a luxury stay.

I stayed in king's e queen's in July 2022. I really liked the room because it isn't small and the view of the sea and of the swimming-pool was fantastic. The receptionist was very nice and sociable. The beds were confortable, but we didn't have a lot of space to put the clothes in the wardrob. I liked the bathroom because it didn't have a door just some type of rope and it was very original. The overflowing swimming-pool was very beautiful but it made a lot of noise and it wasn't exposed to the sun all the day long. The breakfast was amazing but we don't have a lot of choice. every morning the staff come to give it.
