Wunderschönes Hotel mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service.

Great looking place just a shame they were rigging up a festival gig for a few days so stage disco etc being set up in car park in front of building so really ruined that wow factor when you arrived! Also no tea/coffee facilities in room,very weird! Butt to food first class and staff very friendly

This place is AMAZING! We had to change our travel plans for the beginning of a European trip and we found this place to stay for the first 3 days of our vacation. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel or the staff. We had our kids with us ( 7 and 10) and they couldn’t have been happier. The room ( we had a tower suite) was comfortable and cozy. The pool and SPA area was fantastic and the food was incredible. The grounds and gardens were an absolute delight to just walk around in and take amazing pictures. I have to say though that our stay was perfected by the addition of Yankuba Keita ( Yanks as he had my kids call him). He was amazing and went out of his way to make us and my kids feel special. He took time out to play cards and bocce with them and made sure that our stay truly was a memorable one. We hope to be back in the future. After being fortunate to now be retired and travelled a bit in the last few years, staying in nice hotels in both the U.K. Europe and the States, my wife and I have come to the conclusion that the Schloss is the most wonderful of all places and our particular favourite. This was our third stay here after returning to our home in the U.K. We cannot think of a single thing that wasn't just perfect and exquisite. Kind and helpful staff, beautiful and comfortable room up in the Schloss, superb dinners either in the Schlosskellar or the Bar....and the breakfasts !!! Let me just write a bit about the breakfasts served here. You can choose to have breakfasts in any number of beautifully appointed and sunlit rooms overlooking the lovely grounds and gardens. And the choice of fayre offered is breathtaking. Breads, cheeses, cold meats and fish, juices and champagne, cereals and fruit.....before going on to eggs cooked anyway you wish with bacon, sausage etc. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff here. What a wonderful way to start the day before going for a stroll in the beautiful grounds. This is now our " go to " place and we will return every year.....maybe even twice a year.

Liebes Team, nun sind wir bereits seit 10 Jahren regelmässig Ihre Gäste. Ich kann die Aufenthalte nicht mehr zählen. Mit Freunden oder auch ich mit meinen Söhnen waren wir ein oder zwei mal pro Jahr im Schloss. Hervorzuheben ist der sehr persönliche Umgang mit uns, es ist wie ein kleines Stück Familie, die man besucht. Wir waren diesmal über meinen Geburtstag zu Gast. Schon der Empfang mit Herrn Opolony und Herrn Kaita ( hoffe der Name ist korrekt schrieben) ist überaus herzlich. Weiter geht es mit dem herrlichen großzügigen Spa Bereich nebst der Möglichkeit Massagen / Pediküre dazu zu buchen, alles begleitet von der zauberhaft fröhlichen Saskia. Im Frühstück gibt uns Diana Bergmann immer unseren Lieblingstisch und verwöhnt uns. Herr Ahlers im Restaurant Hilmar übersetzt uns kundig die „ Fremdwörter“ der Küchenspezialitäten und Wein „ begleitet „ uns durch den Abend. Das Essen im Hilmar verdient großen Respekt denn Auge und Mund werden gleichermaßen betört. Danke, danke. Die ländliche Umgebung lädt zum Morgen Joggen ein, der nette Schlosspark mit Burggraben ist einfach schön. Ein Besuch in Hameln, Rinteln oder Lemgo kann den Tag verschönern. Unter dem Nachfolge Direktor Jan Winnebald, der seit Jahren mir Vorgänger Thomas Bonnani zusammen gearbeitet hat, ist ein herzliches Team entstanden. Wir werden in circa 6 Wochen erneut zu Besuch kommen und freuen uns jetzt schon.

Nach längerer Zeit war ich einmal wieder hier - und bin begeistert. Empfang: in den Schlosshof vorgefahren, um das Gepäck abzuladen - und sofort kam eine helfende Hand herbei, um mitzuhelfen. Zurück zum Parkplatz - sowohl ebenerdig wie auch unterirdisch (mit unterirdischem Zugang zur Rezeption, falls es einmal regnet) sind ausreichend Plätze vorhanden. Empfehlung: parkt im Parkhaus - mir hat einmal oben ein Marder bei meinem neuen Auto die Kühlschläuche zerbissen... Rezeption: schneller check-in, Begleitung aufs Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit zwei extra Pluspunkten: (1) eine Zwischentür, die das eigentliche Zimmer vor dem Badezimmer und dem Flur abschottete und (2) ein sehr schön großes und modernes Bad. Dinner im Gewölbe: unaufgeregt, lecker, limitierte Weinauswahl - aber mit ein paar echten Highlights. Hinterher in die Bar: 2017 angebaut, sehr hell, licht, schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet MUSS man machen - die Auswahl ist riesig, der Service aufmerksam, die O-Saft-Maschine gibt es immer noch... Alles in allem: perfekter Aufenthalt! Hier lohnt sich sogar nur eine einzige Nacht, um wieder aufzutanken.
